How do we find an agent that's 2100 miles away?

We're planning on moving from AZ back to PA in the Spring. We're not going to be able to hop on a plane (We wouldn't fly these days any way for anything!) to look at homes so it will have to be done virtually.

I contacted an agency in PA that has a high rating and they referred me to a "relocation specialist" in their agency. She contacted me by text or email (my request) to find out all the particulars but when she found out we wouldn't be able to move until Spring because my husband is having a total knee replacement done the end of this month and recovery is at least 12 weeks, she hasn't answered any of my email questions. So, I'm back to square one trying to find an agent that will work with us along the way.

Anyone here made a long distance move? When we came here to AZ from PA 7 years ago, we didn't have a good experience with an agent, even though she said she was a relocation specialist. HAH! What questions should I be asking potential agents? Just what do they do to help you relocate??

I know it's early to be looking for someone, but it takes time to get it all sorted out. Any suggestions??

Are you just looking for now? If you saw a home virtually that you liked would one or both of you go see it now? Or would you buy it without seeing it in person first?

If not buying now, a realtor would be wasting their time because by the time your ready to move those houses probably would be sold.
