How do you compensate for your forgetfulness?

Interesting idea about throwing an item on the floor as a reminder but it might not work for me. :):playful::eek:nthego:

I jot down the things that I need to do on an old envelope and prioritize the top five items.

I keep the list going and eventually some things fall off of the list and other things are added.

I don't actually need the list for some reason just writing the item down and giving it a priority makes it stick in my brain.

My wife tells me to remind her to "today's thing to remember"...I usually forget what it was she wanted to remember, but do remember to remind her that she wanted me to remind her of something...I don't know if I forget it on purpose or not, as I've always found it to be a pain in the neck that I should remember something for her. Either way, it's fun as we both try to remember what the thing to remember is...

I make store lists and write appointment or other notes of importance on my wall calendar. Of course there's been times when I forget to take the list, or have the list with me and still fail to get something on it for some reason or another.

Lol, I can relate Oldguy! I often tell my husband to remind me to do something on a particular day, sometimes it goes well and he reminds me, but sometimes he forgets to remind me. I'm sure he thinks it's a pain too when I ask him to do that. But he'll ask me sometimes to remind him to do something, and all I can answer is, 'okay, I'll try to remember to remind you'...that seems good 'nuff! :p
