How do you decorate your writing space?

the reason I asked about being a leftie, is because I can't see any space on the desk where you can use a mouse if you're right-handed

it's a beautiful desk
It's hard to see, but, it's there next to the tower and to the right of the keyboard. Being wireless, it's hard to spot.
The small wire draped there is the tiny ear plugs I use when I'm sitting there.
When I use the bed, I have a blue tooth chip and use the large red head phones there on the table.
Headphones are the only way to listen to music... you hear so mush more that way. :)

I have three writing areas. The first photo is of my desk in our music studio. I've surrounded the desk with things that are special to me. The Cupid was made by my son when he had shop class in high school. The cards are from my son, BFF and podiatrist (thanking me for giving him my CD). When I look to the left there is a baby picture of my oldest grandson and one of him, his brother and their mother (my late DIL). On the shelf below are my art supplies. The bookcase is 6 ft x 6 ft and besides the two cubbies with my stuff, the rest is all my son's albums.

If I have a lot to write (eg: balancing checkbook or writing to someone), I'll either use the desk in the studio, or sit at the table in our dining area. We hardly ever eat there. This is my son transferring tracks I recorded from my instrument into his Logic studio program. This is the photo I came across first showing surrounding decor.

If I'm just going to write something quickly, sometimes I'll do it at the computer desk.

I have an office that I used to do online classes from, still equipped with a mini white board. I am not down here too much these days, but it will be Tax Return Central once again shortly. It is fairly plain with dimensions approximately equal to the size of the jail cell they were going to put Michael Jackson in, that is 5.5 ft by 11 ft.

I have a big cubby hole structure that we inherited that is filled with books and odds and ends. I plan to replace with more custom made concealed storage cabinets with doors that I can store my hunting and fishing gear in as well as some assorted books and other office items. The first step will be to discard unneeded items.
