How do you feel about men, over 60, with long hair?

I have never had long hair. My dad wouldn’t allow it, then The Marines wouldn’t allow it, then The airlines wouldn’t allow it. I never liked it on me anyhow. Just for the heck of it, I tried on wigs just for laughs. I could never wear long hair.

Don't even get me started on the guys that shave their heads. Nothing but a display of laziness.
Don't be so quick to judge. My husband has been shaving his head for years because he started going bald and dislikes the way that looked. After trying to find some way to style his hair to compensate, he finally just said screw it and pulled out the clippers.

I think he looks great!

I have a dear friend, male, over 60, with long hair. He's a very handsome man and over the years I have seen him
with a variety of hair lengths. (Even shaved his head once!) Personally, no matter how clean and groomed, I think it
makes him look older when his hair is long.

I'd love to hear some of your opinions on this subject. Ladies and men!!

Thanks

J.
Are you saying looking older is bad?
I wish that was my worst attribute,

I started out similarly but never joined the military. I wore my hair long in my mid twenties but soon got tired of it. I simply prefer the feel of the wind making it through to my scalp.

If they have long hair and can't seem to find the time to shave it off or get a haircut; I wonder if they have the time to even bath?

Tatoos makes them look older than they are. Rings in the ears makes them look like they just came from a gypsy caravan.

I am old enough to recall that when the Beatles came on the scene everyone thought they had long hair. It barely covered their ears. At the time I preferred guys who had jobs so long hair was out.

My wife braids mine into a single, I can reach it with my left hand
and my right thumb around my sides middle of my back.

Left arm is more flexible but right is still ok.

If I need to work hard the hair doesn't bother me in face too.
We joke about combing out hair. Maybe one day I won't have any long hairs. Haha

My husband is 71. He still listens to heavy metal. But, he is bald and when he jerks his head to the music, it looks really funny. If he had long hair, I'd smile less if I saw a long-haired macho man

Reading why some men have long hair at our age, I wondered why I still have long hair at my age.

Could be as simple as Covid prevented me from getting it cut.
After shops opened back up and I could get it cut, I still hesitated.
I was 68 and have never had hair below my ears.
Still had a lot of hair and now it was pure white.

Growing up in a military family and serving for 24 years, haircuts were a routine.

I have no tattoo's, nothing to set me apart.
A quiet person who followed the rules, listened to weird Jazz and believed in multiple Gods.

Heading for 73, with hair about 14" long.
Leave it down at home and a simple ponytail if I'm going out.
No 'Man bun'.

Don't know why, but it still feels right...
