How do you handle money?

on money clips... my ex didn't use one but always just folded his paper

Trouble with that is, it easily comes undone when pulling it out
money in half an put in his pocket... which one? i don't remember.
Always a front pocket
Right beside my very thin wallet (just license, debit, credit card)
Dips (pick pockets) love seeing a bulging back pocket

he always arranged his money... from ones to 20s. he put the higher bills on the outside... i suspect trying to impress anyone who saw him.
Ones on the outside
I have nobody to impress

He would have really liked this.......The Canadian Government used to print a One Thousand Dollar Bill, that was bright pink in color. Seriously, it was in circulation and while not seen often, it was out there. Link. How much do you think this $1,000 Canadian bill from 1954 is worth? JimB.

I am a fan of credit card wallets...I love them... and have several brightly coloured leather ones. However I never take them out with me. I keep all the cards that I don't need on a particular day in the wallets, and just take one debit and one CC out with me, with a little bit of cash..in my pocket. Each of my wallets holds up to 30 cards with a space for notes and small change as well

I saw a thousand USD bil once
It was in the late 60s
An old gent showed it to me
He had it in an ornate wooden box

It's my understanding, 1000 dollar bills are mainly printed for physical transport of large transfers from one financial facility to another (mainly government)

As it's going, we may see them more in circulation.
Might buy a quart of milk with it

re: wcwbf post # 23

New bills (fresh off the press LOL) are dangerous - they seem to stick together. The bills are "scrunched" and straighten before going into the purse/wallet/pocket.

They're pretty slick. It only takes seconds for them to install it.
I think that you and I are talking at cross purposes. You are talking about unattended ATM's, while I am talking about the debit /credit card readers that are used in stores and cafes, next to the cash register. That was my original point, that retail stores here in Canada are moving away from accepting cash, to reduce the chance of robberies. JimB.

Skimmers have been found at self-checkouts at Walmarts here in PA

Our bills are polymer/plastic so don’t crumble. Since I’ve gone almost 100% the other plastic, aka a card, I usually only carry a $5 and $20 tucked away in zipped area. I won’t decline it, if given a $100. When I go to the Farmers Market, I carry lots of $5s and coins. Sometimes I end up with coins in my coat pocket.
Same.
I carry no more than $40 cash which is enough for family own restaurants and farmers' markets. ATM-Bank is across the street if I need more cash.
