Quick tap..........................54%
Moderate tap.....................38%
Prolonged laying on the horn..8%

Personally I think the last one (Prolonged) is off by 10%.
That Quick Tap is useless especially if that driver is on the cell phone.

When a driver falls asleep at the wheel and just sits there when the light changes from red to green, I give a quick honk. But that's about it.

Depends..........A quick tap if someone has their turn signal on and wants the space in front of me, "saying"
go ahead. Also if someone's sleeping through a green light.

However, if it's some anal orifice who dangerously cuts me off, then it's a long, sustained BLAST +
flashing the brights on and off.

I saw them talking about this on TV this morning. I rarely honk..only if I feel it is emergency situation.

I rarely use my horn. I believe it is illegal to use one in the UK after 11pm unless the circumstances are extreme.

Unless you're looking for a fight or something,I choose to ignore it cause I have no idea what that driver is thinking.
"where's my gun,Im gonna blow that guys head off at the next lights"

Will honk according to the situation. I'm not an uptight driver in a hurry, so I don't need to honk out of frustration like many people I see. I will give a short honk if needed to wake someone up, or let them know they are now sharing my lane. :drive: I agree, depending on which vehicle I'm driving, the horn is always in a different place on the steering wheel.

Easy for you to say, I cant even find that horn button,I know its someplace on that big black circle right in front of me. BUT you have to press the exact right spot to make it work,by the the crash has all ready occured.(g)

Can't find the horn button!!!

It is very important for a driver to be familiar with every control in his vehicle the horn button is no exception.
