How do you like the climate where you live?

Here it is approaching the end of March and I look out at a snow covered field .. and am loving it! The "Cold White North" is for me. Summer might be late in coming and short but the fall is glorious with its riotous colours, and winter? What can I say? I love snow! What do you like about your present place of residence?

I like the climate here but this year the weather has been SO WEIRD!
I have shoveled enough snow in Montana, Colorado and Alaska to last three lifetimes!
But, as I say this, I miss Alaska SO MUCH!

Must say I'm not fond of winter. We had around -5⁰C this year so obviously it doesn't compare to Canada or the USA, but still I loathe icy slippery pavements and chilly air. Or part of UK had only a couple of light snow showers this year, way better than the rest of Britain. So overall I'm happy with it... Unless we get another sweltering 40⁰C summer ☀️

Hasn't it been weird? That is the word i find many of our fellow New Mexicans using. It is wetter than usual, temps have been going up and down in odd ways. So far none of our usual Thunderstorms up here near Jemez Ridge but some days we've had sun, rain, sleet and snow (sometimes with sun between each switch) all in same day. And mud worse than usual.

Wisconsin is like this and I am loving it! I moved here from California last year and it suits me well. I don't drive much and stay home a lot, so I can appreciate the beauty of the snow. I live in a condo, so there is a service that shovels the snow and walkways and does the yardwork. Nice retirement for me. The fall is gorgeous here as well. There's some humidity sometimes in the summer, but it's much preferable to the days and weeks of 100 plus degrees in Sacramento.

We're lucky here in the middle of the country, in that most of the severe storms go North or South of us...just leaving us with moderate conditions. The primary concern is a tornado...but luckily none near here in decades...knock wood. It's been at least 7 or 8 years since we had a major snowstorm that kept us housebound for more than a day or two. We always get a few days of bitter cold in the Winter, and some heat in the Summer, but nothing we can't cope with.

No complaints so far this year .... missed out on winter time weather altogether.
.... but changes will come, and it will probably be too hot and too humid soon enough.

I would say the climate lately has been just what I expected.
4 seasons, not too much snow or cold and summers seem nice to me.

Now, ignore what I just said.
Our state is filling up beyond belief and my neighborhood is over-flowing.

Just stay put and don't think of moving here! ;)

I love the climate here. We have all 4 seasons, we get snow and real cold but we get sun most days in the winter.

It gets hot in the summer but it's semi-arid and higher elevation and it cools off at night. We do get lots of wind but you can't have (or not have) everything.
