How do you like your burger/hamburger prepared?

Tis The Season
Whether you buy it at a restaurant or make it at home, what are
the things that make it most tasty for you? Do you modify the
cooking method, experiment with different ingredients? Perhaps
you pan fry, steam your patties, broil in the oven. Anyway, what
do you like on your hamburger?

I like my hamburger cooked medium. I prefer to fry them at home.
Adding cheese, sliced sweet onions, tomato and lettuce, some fried
mushrooms, mayo and a big, huge pickle! Light on the salt and pepper.
I like the thick, soft hamburger buns.

Rarely eat burgers , usually save that up for when we travel to Queensland in winter

No pickles that only popular in fast foods like hungry jacks ..we get one from a fish n chip / hamburger shack
We like beetroot on ours

This is one my hubby had in July ( in Queensland )

I like my 100% beef burgers cooked on the bbq and grilled. I Ike it cooked medium and once it’s cooked I put melted cheese on it. Then I add sweet red onions, sweet relish ( made from cucumber which we grew) mustard, sweet pickles ( made from cucumbers) slice of tomato all on a lightly toasted bun.

It would be unusual for me to have a hamburger except once each month or two. I don't make them. I do want all the regular vegetables normally served where I live: tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and onions. Cheese is okay. No mustard. Dry without sauces except mayo, just not so much it drips out. The best ones to my liking are at Whataburger.

Home made by me.
Lean beef, diced onion, crushed garlic, grated carrot, Worcestershire sauce, cracked black pepper.
Same diameter as the bread.
Mustard thinly spread on one slice, real butter on the other.
At least 1/2" thick when cooked.
Layered with beetroot, sharp cheese, diced tomato and a fried egg.

Cooked until internal temp is 160*F.
Like it thinnish.
Other stuff: bun, catsup, thick slice onion, dill pickles, cheese.
Used to like mustard, lettuce, tomato -- now I prefer it to be more streamlined.

Once in awhile, I'll mess with it and add chopped onions, garlic, W sauce, salt, pepper to the ground beef before cooking.

I prefer White Castle Cheeseburgers to any other hamburger in the world. I hate Krystal's, they taste like rat poison.

Funny you brought it up. I typically like a standard burger... cooked medium well with lettuce, onions, pickles, tomatoes (sometimes bacon), mustard and ketchup. I try to treat myself to red meat once every couple of weeks. Today we went to one of our favorite burger joints and I tried something that was decadent but so delicious.

The Closer

Our signature blend of Tenderloin, Brisket, and Chuck, topped with shaved Ribeye, Cabernet caramelized Onions, Creamy White Cheddar Mornay, and Horseradish Worcestershire Aioli. Served on a toasted "Everything" spiced Brioche bun.

I'll be eating the last quarter of it in the next 30 minutes. :ROFLMAO:

I like my burgers cooked medium, on the grill or in a skillet... made from a mix of ground beef and ground pork... with sautéed mushrooms, roasted peppers, sautéed onions, and melted cheese on top. 🍔😋

Burgers = well done baked in the oven. No bread just a 10 or 12 ounce burger with a hearty salad.

Hamburger made into home made seasoned meatballs for meatball & pasta but more my favorite is meatballs in sauce in a meatball sub with grated parmesan Reggiano over it.
