How Do You Play Music On a Long Road Trip?

You'll get to meet quite a few of us.. we are already 'over the hill'...:cautious::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Count me out! I can see the top of the hill but I am not there yet. Still on the good side of the ridge but that view point can be argued. You can be "over the hills" in different ways: physical health, mental health, attitude, etc.

Well, first of all we have to remove the passenger door in order to get the grand piano in.....secondly, it's quite cacophonous because I don't know how to play.

Usually on a long drive, if I'm by myself, I listen to a novel on CD. If I do play music, I alternate between what interesting stations I can find on the radio and whatever CDs I have with me.

For some reason, I like to sing along while no one can hear me (believe me, it's best that way....) and my favorite is a 4-CD set of the greatest opera arias of all time. I belt away at the top of my lungs without hurting anyone's ears. It's therapeutic.

I sometimes listen to audiobooks on my phone with earbuds. Otherwise, I just like the quiet. Music doesn't interest me so much anymore. I don't care for contemporary music, and I've heard "classic rock" tunes so much, I know every guitar note and symbol crash to many of those songs. So instead of listening to music, I just observe my surroundings.

Do you search for local radio stations? Play CDs? Play off of a flash drive? If you want to stream music from your phone, etc., You could play my Road Trip Playlist found on YouTube. These tracks have rich tones and a heavy beat to keep you chugging along so you don't get too sleepy.
Also, you can look for it on Spotify, Apple or wherever you stream your music. Drive safely, please.
Today was the first day I ever tried listening to YouTube via Bluetooth from my phone. It worked fairly well. You do have to put up with some commercials, but you could play a playlist of whatever songs you want, which you don't have to own.
