How do you prefer to stuff it? Your Thanksgiving Turkey...

I am having Duck dinner this Thanksgiving, but if I was stuffing a Turkey, I prefer and love
Giblets dressing/stuffing....celery, onions, chicken broth, bread cubes, salt and pepper, I like
it moist, and with tiny bits of apple. Blend, simmer and season it all up, Turkey time!
Sounds delicious! The only time I ever had duck was at a Chinese banquet, I think it was called Peking Duck, it was great.

My son-in-law makes a delicious bread stuffing with sausage and apple. I ised to just mske the traditional bread stuffing, but his version is way better!

Stuffing for us is cheap white bread, onion, celery, mushrooms, chicken broth, and the chopped up turkey liver. And sage, salt and pepper. And baked inside the bird.

I always preferred homemade from-scratch stuffing with Bell's seasoning, which I haven't seen in decades. So I started using StoveTop- prepared on stove, then put it into the turkey around a half-hour or so before the turkey was well-done. I liked the way the turkey juices got into the stuffing- tasted better than simply serving the stuffing from the stove.

I tried cornbread stuffing- didn't like it. Also don't like extras like apples, berries, nuts, etc. in it.

@JaniceM , I'm the same! Bell's is still on the market, but they put it on some non-related shelf.

My mother always spread out bread to get dried out. Today I get the seasoned bread cubes, either Pepperidge Farms or Arnolds, but still use Bell's.

Onions and celery sauteed in butter, broth to moisten and Bells!
