How do you prefer your pizza? How about pineapple on it?

I grew up eating deep dish tomato pie because that's what my grandma made, and it was always cut into squares. It was delicious. There was only one place I ate tomato pie besides at grandma's, and that was at a bar/restaurant called Romeo & Juliet's. My mom worked late on Fridays, and when she closed up shop, sometimes we'd have supper there. The tomato pie they made had a thin crust. There would usually be a few of us, and my Aunt Shirley, who didn't like tomato sauce, would order her special personal pie... no sauce, extra cheese, and roasted garlic. She sprinkled it liberally with black pepper before eating the whole thing. I say, eat your pizza any way you like it!

My preference is for a thin-crusted Classic Margarita pizza. I don't like a lot of bells and whistles on my pie. I like tomato sauce, fresh sliced tomatoes (in season), fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and maybe a little fresh oregano. Simple. Although I wouldn't turn down any well-made pizza. NO PINEAPPLE! vomit

No Pineapple @ Bella. ;)

I liked your pizza story, and thin-crusted Classic Margarita pizza sounds soooo good too ;)

Too many bells and whistles on any pizza's can be overkill. BUT otherwise I like a well made
pizza also. Agree, eat pizza any way you like it ;)

I've had Hawaiian Pizza with pineapple and I liked it. For a "different" pizza I really like BBQ Chicken Pizza... but for a "plain ol' pie" I prefer just the sauce, cheese, mushrooms, and meat of any kind *except* pepperoni... tummy can't handle that. 🍕
Oh, now I should try that one @ CallMeKate, BBQ Chicken Pizza :)

I like my pineapple on upside down cake. I'll pass on the pizza, but if offered I would try a bite.

I get different pizzas depending on where we order from. My basic go-to is light sauce, fresh mushrooms, onion, green pepper, banana peppers, diced or sun-dried tomatoes & double cheese. Next would be a Buffalo Bacon Ranch that has chicken, tomato, bacon, mozzarella/provolone cheese mix on base of ranch dressing drizzled with Frank's Buffalo wing sauce. I also love a Margarita pizza if it's made with all fresh ingredients.

If we can get fresh dough from a store, we will do pizzas at home on the grill. Also we like to do low-carb pizzas in a skillet.
