I am very lucky to not be on any medications so far. I've worked hard on my health this past few years, brought my cholesterol down to more acceptable levels with a variety of diet and exercise, and have no other health concerns other than a touch of arthritis, but my dancing and active lifestyle helps keep me limber.
I do however take supplements. I had the hardest time getting into a routine with them..when to take them, REMEMBERING to take them etc., but I've finally arrived at a routine that works for me. Once every two weeks I apportion them into two 7 day pill minders, which sit on my desk next to my computer. I have one cup of coffee in the morning, which I slowly sip on even after it's cold. With the last of the coffee, I take my pills. I prefer to take them on an empty stomach so that they absorb quickly. Then I head downstairs for breakfast, and off to work!
I never forget to take them this way. When we go away for the w/e I just take one of the pill minders with me.
What about you? How do you manage your meds or supplements?
