How do you tell if a computer is Wnidows11compatable?

When I Google "is the use of Microsoft Windows declining," I get this: "According to recent data, the usage of Microsoft Windows is declining, with reports showing a noticeable drop in market share", or something similar from various sources. Maybe some of the decline is due to their planned obsolescence. [?]

I mentioned somewhere awhile back that I'm still using Windows 7 on one laptop, but I used that machine yesterday, and encountered more than a few search issues, as well as security warnings.

I've never had a virus, but I always, always, run any unfamiliar links through a site safety checker before visiting the site: URL VOID or Trend Micro Site Safety Checker.

As long as I can keep going on the newer laptop with Windows 11, I'll keep it, but when I start having problems, I think I'm done with Windows.

Problems arise when you try to install software that won't run on older versions of Windows. If you're able to get by running older versions, then you're okay, but at the very least, they're going to bug you about upgrading.

11 compatible hard drives are different then the former and memory protection.
Having no moving parts, this internal solid-state drive is shock resistant and durable.
High-capacity, enhanced power efficiency, and upgraded performance are perfect for
gamers and creators.

I'll have had my current system 13 years on January 12th. It has Windows 7 for an OS and it pretty much does what I need it for (with a few exceptions). I don't have to worry about updates anymore which used to take hours to install.

Even if I get a new desktop, I wouldn't know how to set it up or what cable goes where. It a real spaghetti junction behind there.
