How do you work this tablet thing?

I used to be on the cutting edge of technology. I installed a printer, back when it took a weekend to do it. Now, I have a flip phone. At my MD's, they gave me tablet to check in. I was OK with the multiple choice questions. But, I didn't know how to type things in. I was getting all kinds of screens. I had to go back and ask,"How do you work this tablet thing?" They had to enter data.

All I know Fuzzy, is that you use an onscreen keyboard to text/type things in on a tablet or cellphone. Tell me what the name of the tablet is, and I can probably find you a Youtube tutorial to look at;)

The tablets I have gotten at my drs offices have been with just yes -no questions and a touch screen to click your answer. But If you have to fill things out, there should be a pop up QWERTY keyboard.

When it was a simple yes or no; it was no problem. But when I had to type something, I didn't know what to do. I was bringing up all kinds of pages. When I saw the page that asked if I wanted to delete all programs, I figured maybe I should bring this thing back.
