Do you know this kid? If you, do watch him and yourself over the next 14 days. One way or the other you will know the answer then. It takes a while for the symptoms to become apparent. Keep practising social isolation, physical distancing and continue frequent and thorough hand washing in any case. Stay calm.

As it's gets into your body most commonly from nose, mouth or eyes. From what I've heard being in the vicinity of a cough or sneeze is the most common way. Heard one doc say even though it can live on surface it's those airbone droplets right after sneeze or cough is a big issue. This is why sneezing or coughing into arm is crucial and good life long habit. Until this many didn't practice that.

Time is different for many. Around the 7th day is when it really starts to kick in if a person can't fight it.
