Yes, This is one of the life lessons I had to learn this time around. I have learned patience. This pandemic is trying my patience though!
If I have an appointment with someone, I am always ahead of time!
Same here on being ahead of time. When I was in school, our band director told us: if you are not on time, I will lock the band room doors and subtract points from your letter grade. After a couple of classmates "tested the waters" and found out he was serious, we all had a good record of being on time for that and every other class. Now I notice that most of us who were in band together are always early for everything :p

I've always been a stickler for punctuality, so if I've arranged to meet someone, I'm always early. If the other party keeps me waiting more than 10minutes, they find that I'm gone when they finally arrive.
Interesting, I have the same policy: my time is just as important as your time. If you are going to be late, either call with a good reason, or I'm gone.

I am good at waiting to improve skills, learn things I want to know, or in general, achieve goals as I believe my goals are worth working toward (which consists of "waiting" to improve). I'm NOT good at letting other people waste my time by keeping me waiting beyond an agreed upon time for meetups or appointments. I changed doctors once because she was NEVER on time, and I believe my time is as valuable as hers. Time is the currency of life.

Hmm. So many of you saw this question from the perspective of having to wait for someone, and not being patient about that. I get it, I don't like when people are late.

But I saw it more as a general question. Waiting for someone for a lunch date, sure. But I was thinking more along the lines of waiting for a package to arrive, or counting down the days till vacation, or waiting in line at the grocery, or waiting for news, or waiting till your partner finishes shopping etc. And all those things I'm good at.

Nope...I'm no good at any of those either...and actually tbh Ronni, I was thinking of those types of things when I replied... :D

I myself make an effort to be punctual so when I'm kept waiting because of someone else's inconsiderateness, I'm annoyed.....what I do with my annoyance depends on who and what I'm waiting for. When waiting is simply a fact of life, like at an airport waiting for a connecting flight, I can always find something to occupy myself with.
