sorry you've suffered at the hands of fools as well.. Ksav... being rear ended twice.. I hope you weren't injuredI can only imagine, @hollydolly! I've been rear-ended twice (both times, someone in front of me slammed on their brakes, and the person behind me wasn't looking), and my anxiety skyrockets if I am approached too quickly from behind. My daughter and I were once stopped in traffic on a highway and a car came zooming up behind us, going so fast I was sure the driver didn't see that traffic had stopped. I actually got lightheaded with fear. Luckily, he slowed at stopped at the last minute.
Your auto accident was far worse than mine were, so I can only imagine how nerve-wracking heavy traffic can get.
And good for you for getting that guy's registration number and leaving that note!
I wasn't rear ended per se... the car that hit me, smashed into me side on... mostly on the rear passenger side and back wheel...
I said then and I say it still now, You can watch for people in front of you, and behind you to a certain extent on the motorway slip-road but you can't be expected to see someone drive into the side of you at the rear passeger side .. so when these vehicles were getting so close to me again on the same road..my heart was thumping out ofmy chest..
When I got home today I was bombarded by emails and calls from the Insurance company, the medical people acting on behalf of the insurance company , and then also a Physiotherpists office called with an appt for for me.. for 45 minutes I barely drew breath for people calling , texting and emailing... 3 months on from the accident, it's like they just suddenly woke up on the same day!
