It's almost 7pm... fireworks are going off again tonight..

My lunch came courtesy of my neighbour today... huge plate....

On it is..Belly pork... Romanian sausages, Pork chop... mashed potato.. Cauliflower, Home made pickles, and a red pepper filled with sauerkraut


The man of the house brought it round, accompanied by his youngest a 3 year old... who insisted she cooked it..lol

I manage to eat a little bit, the rest is in the fridge for tomorrow...

That's such a thoughtful surprise! It looks delicious! You must have nice neighbors!

oh they bring me food all the time.. whenever they're having a party or a BBQ..or if it's someone's birthday...

They're very nice, they're fairly new here only been here about 4 years..Romanians.. tenants of the owner of the house next door

So far this morning, I've cleaned out some photos from my tablet, drank the morning brew, and watched Goob sleep in the bookcase.

We got our first "hard freeze" last night. It went down to 24°F/-4.4°C. That's the end of The Fairy Garden for this year.

I'm hoping that productivity will start happening after breakfast. Right now.....I'm just sitting around, happy that I have no reason to go outside in the cold.

Was 28 degrees this morning! bbrbr. !!!!!!!!!!

Hubby finding odds & ends of little things that need batters.

I hope to bake some oat meal cookies.
Probably freeze some as hubby & dog aren't fans of them.

Should plan what I hope to cook for Thanksgiving & weekend that sons are here.

@Sliverfox If you are cold, then come and visit me. But hurry. Rain is in the forecast, and then it usually cools down.
Before noon, it's already over 90F degrees. Early in the afternoon, it will be a few degrees warmer.



Have you ever seen a holy Blue Jay (with a halo?)................Having had Rex for 2 months (now 14 m/o) his behavior is improving.
