Every single day beginning in mid-October, I am thankful for no sNOw. Yesterday, I had a dental appointment and I did not wear a coat, gloves, scarf, hat, plus 2 layers of clothing under all that. Just jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. In December!!! At Halloween it was still warm outside and no sNOw!!! I bought a raincoat to celebrate - because precip gotta precip.

That sounds like our weather yesterday, @Sliverfox. Now we have a brief reprieve before freezing rain pelts us all night and into the morning. Unless the forecast turns out to be a bust. That said, I met today's deadlines and got my errands run, so bring it on! ("It" being the inclement weather.)

I doubt, sadly that there's any family who hasn't be touched with it..even slightly...

My grandfather and aunt both died from lung cancer... my daughter and I both have had to have carcinomas' removed due to our years living in hot countries... despite our pendantic use of high factor lotions..

it always does look empty when you've cleared of anything that doesn't normally live there..especially Christtmas decorations... it always feels a bit echoey

I cleaned the microwave and tray. I also loaded my countertop dishwasher twice; ran it once. I’ll wait until I add the breakfast dishes to start it in the morning. The rest of the day I slept, played games and watched T.V. so did not accomplish the other things I intended to.
 
A sobering day. Lots of bills to pay. They're endless, aren't they? I wanted to buy a lot of music, but after running the numbers this isn't the time to do that. Reality bites.
