Could be your rotator cuff, actually, probably a rotator cuff as it’s very hard to tear a bicep. I have the same problem. Try this simple exercise. If it is the shoulder, you’ll feel immediate relief. Sometimes (most of the time) I’m too lazy to get out of bed so I’ll just lay on my back and put my arms over my head. It relives the pressure.
Hey, thanks, PurplePower. I think mine is arthritis and it comes and goes but that exercise looks good. I also put my arms over my head for relief.

I sleep fairly normal hours, given that I'm a night bird, but I'm still up in the morning regardless of what time I got to bed.. no sleeping all day for me...

Since Covid, nothing here is open 24 hours any longer...
I worked all 3 shifts in my Industrial Career. Tried to experience the pre-dawn
sky, then back to work.

Now, retired I sleep when I feel like it. Get up when I feel like it.
Sometimes awake till 4 AM.

I'm retired and what I feel I need to do dictates my daytime hours.
June thru September, Hard work gets done between 5 and 12 AM.

Not a dummy about too humid! Winter outdoor work time is 1pm
to 4 pm. Sunshine Rules!

1. rule is Protection of the knees with pads

When I was having panic attacks they weren't about suffocation or anything like that. No pains, etc. and it was frustrating having "medicine" always jump to conclusions about heart issues. I didn't have any fear or anger issues, these just seemed to be triggered out of the blue.

I kept getting wired up for EKGs but they never found any suggestion of anything like a heart attack.

But what I felt instead was just a very heavy ongoing feeling of unspecified doom. The attacks were a black cloud where I was sure I was going to die and I had no reason why I felt that way. I did have the notion that if I fell asleep I'd stop breathing. Trying to stay awake, pacing, standing outdoors out in the back yard listening to the radio or recorded podcasts... anything to gut it out until it passed.

Doc put me on Escitalopram 5mg (low dose) once/day and the issue is gone. I did have one week in March when something threatened to bring symptoms on again so I supplemented with tiny doses (1/4 of a tablet or even 1/8) of Xanax that I keep on hand. Aside from that one bad week though, it has been just over 18 months without symptoms.
I was going through severe depression and anxiety over 20 years ago. I couldn't even go into work. My therapist put me on Escitalopram (Lexapro at that time) and I've not had any major issues since 2005. Glad it is working for you as well.

Well we drove out to the campground and there was fresh snow, the front just would not pass, and we had a little conflict on an empty, and I mean empty road in the middle of nowhere. Rather than subject my wife to a rather damp evening, predicted morning temps in the mid-20's ° F, and the possibility of further contact w the individual on the road we just turned around and went home.

Along the way we spotted a pair of Northern Harriers, formerly known as marsh hawks, exhibiting nesting behavior. This is a wet meadow, which produces the light green grass, the dark green sedge and plenty of dandelions. We also saw several pairs of long-bill curlews.

Didn't take but a few flower pics. There are probably a dozen species in the area at peak bloom.

The Beatles sang something like, "It's been a hard day's work." Well, they sang but I actually do the hard work. Look at the difference 8 hours of sweat makes pruning the tree. I admit I even had to take an Ibuprofen because I got sore. One added difficulty is that the Pepper Tree grows over our creek that at this spot is relatively wide. I had to use knee-high waterproof boots at times.

My hands and legs got a few "souvenir scratches" that my darling Heidi Boxer puppy cleaned eagerly, before I was able to cover the wounds with antibiotic cream. Wasps objected to my work and stung me three times. All the while, birds entertained me with pretty songs.

We used to have 18 fruit trees in the area behind the tree I am pruning. Nematodes killed them (I didn't like the constant spraying with poison.)

I have to hire a tree guy to shred all the branches.....This trellis used to be covered with grape vines and the dogs ate all the grapes within reach.

Cleaning the pond is my next project. We used to have a Koi fish that my Doberman dog caught and partially ate, and he left the rest at the door for me to eat. Yes, he was always very considerate. Now we only keep Mexican mosquito fish in it, and some crayfish also found their way in. A minor spring, where the Elephant Ears grow, provides the water. A 6" pipe under the dam prevents a potential problem. The pond attracts many birds.

LOL>.It was actually ''A Hard Days' Night''....:D

Chilly morning here at 46F, a trend that continues cool for several days ahead. Mostly cloudy all day but no rain again until tomorrow. Gloomy times for a bit here.

Trying not to chuckle at a video about "The £220 BILLION LIE" (Net Zero) over there in the UK. Quite the rabbit hole. Hardly worth posting much about because there are so many believers who simply will not hear.

Saturday I get some dusting and sorted laundry. I spent a good part of the afternoon preparing for the radio broadcast on which I was a guest Saturday night. About 1:50 Sunday morning there was some sort of comotion outside of my patio that woke me up. I made up for lost sleep yesterday by doing a lot of napping.

Since I didn't get much done around here on Saturday and yesterday was a lazy day, today it's time to get busy. I made my two prayers and am down in the laundry room right now. It got down here at 5:46 a.m. I'm going to take my clothes out and when I get upstairs I'll start drying them right away instead of waiting. I don't think my next door neighbors can hear my dryer, but they're probably getting ready for work now anyway.

Make a great day everybody. 🤗

I was talking to a bloke from a few streets away from me.

He told me of the way (ten years ago) he was constantly having to chase youths from his garden, they trampled his plants and pushed over frames that climbing plants grew on.
He had a 7ft high fence erected and the local council told him to have it taken down to about 3ft maximum, but the youths kept causing him stress and damage to his garden.
He then put barbed wire along the top of the new 3ft high fence, but the council told him to remove the barbed wire, so........

He then planted vigorous growing roses along the perimeter, and year on year they grew larger and he trained them along the top of the fence, neighbours and passers by complimenting him on the beauty of the blooms and the wonderful scent. He didn't have any more bother from youths again.

Now the council are suggesting to him, that although his roses are beautiful and enhance the area, it would be more prudent to have a 6ft plus high fence to protect the public from the thorns on the roses.
😊

Good Monday morning, Invisipeeps. A light rain started about an hour ago and is already about gone. The weather for rest of the day/week is going to be the usual summertime weather. A little heat, a little rain, cooling off, heating up again.

I was going to vacuum and dust yesterday. Neither got done because I didn't feel like it. The graduation party for the neighbor's son was very nice. They and he have a gazillion friends, and it was well attended. Since we only had to walk across the front yard to get there, it was like going out without having to go out.

Have to think of something constructive/productive to do today.

On my early walk at 7am was a bit chilly ,temp was 48 as I walked around the building before breakfast
This morning at 9:30 taking Gates van to local grocery store, Wegman's need a couple items. When I'm done I just call the phone # at front desk, I'll be picked up. Its one of the nice things which is part of the package deal here at Gates, another is having weekly housekeeping. Mon at 1pm is my assigned day. I hated cleaning/dusting/vacuuming at my other apt
The rest of my day hope to get another walk in this afternoon, read NYT

The doctor at the hospital today informed me that I no longer need to come in every day for treatment. From now on, I’ll only need to go in every other day. They also said they’ll no longer be packing iodine-soaked gauze into the puncture wounds on my hand, which is a good sign that the healing process is progressing. So, I'm happy about that.

Look like it's a Hurty moon this week...so many people suffering........hope you feel better soo, Trila 🤗

1747657456517.gif I'm heading in the right direction!

I was able to sleep last night with no Tylenol. I'm still sore, but I feel much better today. 😁

Sunny and warm today! Tomorrow is another rain day, so we are going to the gym today, instead. I won't do a lot, but it will be good to move around.

I'm going to call the dentist when they open, and see if they can see me today, too.

My coming weeks are looking more interesting now that I know I can move around without damaging myself. Still minor incision zone soreness. Today will do little and generally will stay quiet at home this week. Tomorrow receiving 4 Amazon buys. Expect to do a 75 mile drive south early morning Wednesday for a day of some coastal photography. Next Saturday 5/24/2025 at a city 25 miles south, will enjoy an outdoor street music/food/drink festival with 3 rock bands over 5 hours with an ideal weather forecast.

Saw quite a lot of enjoyable looking food at many food booths at the festival over the weekend, however it was all with serving sizes about 3 times what this small person would feel comfortable eating. Same thing at all such events where I'd prefer to see at least a few smaller quantity menu selections. Not much a price issue just hate wasting so much ordered food. And of course high prices averaging about $20. I know these large servings are what many large persons love, and that the food vendors apparently are stubbornly of that mindset just like restaurants are today.
