Very kind of you to say so, Trish, thank you. Holly loves the lemon yellow blazer, do you have a favourite colour?
Oh yes! the yellow blazer is very nice. You posted a photo of a blue striped blazer - I love blues. I also love the colour purple :) You have a very stylish wardrobe so, I am sure you will look smart whatever you wear.

Do you and Mrs HC co-ordinate your outfits when you go to events? I once worked for a company which organised lots of staff events and, whenever partners were included in the invite, one chap would always match his tie to his wife's dress. So many people commented on it that, when the Christmas dinner invites went round, the dress code included a note for the men to wear ties to match their partner's outfit. :)

My guess when you said blue it would be the one on the left that's your choice. The one on the right I have had
for many years. The fact that it still fits me is down to the many years of activity in our love of ballroom dancing.

My wife made the trousers and shirts in both photos, she could probably make the jackets too, she has made
herself suits but she says that "tailoring," which is how she describes, made to measure, is a skill that requires
much more and she's happy to leave it to others.

We often coordinate our outfits, there's many a matching waistcoat (vest) and bow tie, made from the oddments
of whatever she has made for herself, I will have a search through some of our albums to see if I can find something
of interest. I rather guiltily admit that even when we don't wear coordinates, we would never colour clash.

I wish I could sew as well as your wife. What skills she has! I like the suit on the right the best.

Another lovely, if hot, day in the neighborhood.

After weeks on end of rain at least once a day, we've had none for a week, and the lawn is turning brown. Water the lawn? I dunno. The forecast says "storms possible." We're supposed to have a 40% chance of rain today, 60% tomorrow, 70% Thursday... If I water, it'll rain for sure; if I don't, it won't for sure🤷‍♀️ Time to throw on my glad rags and get out there to water the flowers at least.

Afternoon folks....

Another sunny but cooler day... I'm making the most of this... it rained heavily yesterday so the air is cool and fresh.🌞🌺🌼🌹

I've been in the garden pulling up the weeds.... but I can't do anything much heavier due to the tendonitis in my arm...

I might get the mower out later.

Tomorrow however the temps are forecast to climb higher again..

Today is the start of Amazon Prime day... usually I ignore it.. but for once, 6 of my regular items have as much as 40 % off, so I'm taking the opportunity to stock up...

have a good day Peeps...

Have two psychiatric appointments today. 11 am with therapist and 3 pm with new psychiatrist to discuss meds. It's only a 15 minute appointment at three. I don't know if I can make my wants and needs known in so short a span.
Write it down and hand it to them... best way ..we've learned to do this here because we're only alloweed 8 minutes with our GP.... so the fastest way is to write it down.. and let them read it and they can ask questions

Good morning to everyone, a sunny day with no rain in the forecast. Grass is growing so fast from the rain last week, so I guess the lawn mower man will show up sooner than scheduled. He is supposed to come every two weeks but has so many yards to mow that it can be three.

Good day to you all. :)

I will be having these appointments at home over TeleHealth, a Zoom type application. You are right, I should write down what I need to ask. Thanks.

Morning all, my usual early morning walk at 6:50 temp was 74, with less humidity, cloudy start as I went around the building twice before breakfast.
I've invited church friends, Linda&Doug for lunch at 12:15, they've never been here. I'll give them the tour starting on the 6th floor where there is nice view of the city, then my apt, off to cafe for lunch, look forward to seeing them
Yesterday, had another cortisone shot for my partial right knee, the orthopedic PA, Austin who I saw in 2023, the knee feels alot better.I told him the pain only bothers me on the right side ,it doesn't; stop me from going on my daily walks

Bright sun here. 67F. Slight breeze. Plus an artificial one created by a fan.

Walked the dog. Talked to a neighbor about his car getting fixed (a big deal for him, because he's a drummer, and without a vehicle moving his drums around is impossible). Dog wandered around, sniffing here, sniffing there. Birds were noisy, which is a joy (wish I could determine what type of birds have which kind of song, but I'm totally ignorant on that).

I received a bunch of music yesterday which I'll enjoy today. Football is on the TV at 20:00 tonight. Dog is now stretched out on his blanket with one ear poking up in case something happens. Silly boy.

A lovely day so far. Grass mowed and two loads of washing on the clothes lines to dry. I was expecting two deliveries today so first thing this morning. I checked the tracking for the parcels. Shock, gasp - Yodel were only a couple of stops away and next thing, the van was outside.
Off I went, still in my dressing gown and slippers. 7.45 am - I've never had a delivery so early, and the driver was far too bright and jolly for that hour. It was almost midday before the postie delivered the second parcel.

Plenty to do this afternoon. Elder daughter is planning to visit in a couple of weeks so it's a bit of late spring cleaning. She's hopefully in the process of buying a house, but these things take ages, so it shouldn't interfere with her travel plans.

Yes, that's the blue one I was thinking of. I had forgotten the blue shoes :)

I agree with your wife about tailoring although, from what I have seen you post here, Mrs HC is very skilful.

I like the idea of matching a waistcoat, actually, I think you did post a photo?

It's quite warm here too today athough, there is a nice breeze so, pretty perfect. I have just finished watering my plants but, it's a much quicker job than yours, I remember the photos of your beautiful garden. :)

@hollydolly …I worry you have really torn a muscle or tendon in your arm. It should not still be hurting so bad. @Pepper …you have been doing much better lately it seems…good luck with your appointments. Myself…had another conversation with the electrician/drywall guy…he is supposed to come on thursday. Of course that is what he said a month ago…but he is so nice i have not killed him yet…

Epic 150 mile motorcycle ride yesterday deep into the Idaho backcountry, today the results are showing because I rode hard, and was put away wet. I've been riding for just a year, so this was a affirmation that the effort of learning how to ride properly is paying off despite the many, many mistakes and setbacks over the past year.

This morning off to the gym, physiotherapist, and then recovery.

View from Antelope Pass to the south. The haze is from range fires in the Snake River Plain.

Blue shoes 002.JPG
The shoes in the top left are actually trainers. You wouldn't expect me to have common or garden trainers, would you?
The bottom left and bottom right are called spectator shoes, much loved by King Edward the eighth, the one who abdicated.
Spectators are often called co-respondent, they are one and the same. The front centre pair are called Gibsons, originally known as Derby's, they were very upper crust. The centre rear are a pair that I had made for a function. The last pair, top right, are straight out of Hollywood.

Look at his shoes, I've just got to have those shoes.

Today I've got one of the freezers cleared out. It's the chest freezer, which is in oneof the sheds, and I kept meaning to do it but there's very little elbow room in there so I kept putting it off,

Anyway I found food BB dates of 2022... lol... so I filled up a carrier bag with food to go.. and fortunately the wheelie bins go out tonight for emptying in the morning...

Noww I've got a lot of space in the chest freezer... for more food... :ROFLMAO:
