How is your day Today? Chat about your plans and achievements 2025....

@againstthegrain I love your photos! I guess when you say “ride” you’re on an off road motorized bike?

I was hoping you were on horseback but I don’t see any “between the ears” photos🤠. At any rate gorgeous photos😍😍

This morning (Wednesday) the RF tire on my car is still up, so the kids who came to mow, did a stellar job pulling a wood screw out and plugging the hole. They keep that sort of repair stuff on their trucks for their mowing equipment.

Asked me how many times I have given thanks for them, their smarts, and their kindness 🙏🙏

Good morning @Pepper, keep up with the fighting spirit. I will keep you in my thoughts today, too.

I went outside to water my big Gardenia plant and found one flower at the top. It is perfect in shape and so pretty. I gave up with it having more flowers since last May. All the rain caused some of the leaves to fall off but it is now looking better.

Good day to all of you and hope you are all well. :)

Thank you!

This is my Yamaha XT-250 dual sport, fully licensed for on road as well as capable off road.

I rode horses on trail crew one year, they're handy, but not my thing.

Good morning, SFers, and Happy Wednesday, July 9, and welcome to day three of five of our daycare of baby grandson daycare and doggie care of two extra dogs. The endless challenge: keeping the huge, exuberant Golden Retriever puppy (18 mo old) from crashing into, toppling, licking and otherwise harassing the baby, all in the name of play. We keep them separated most of the day but there are moments of unavoidable overlap.

Next week it will be baby grandson only.

Having "chatty" guest dogs inspires me to count my blessings that, other an occasional yip in his sleep, our Ozzy-dog has not barked, snarled or whined in the three years we've had him. He's tolerant of the little ones when they're here, but doesn't seek them out and hides when they get too handsy.

Well...what a day..what a night. My computer was running sluggish, had been for a few days, so I cleared all the cookies.. and when I went to sign into everything none of my password were accepted..so I was up half the night trying to fix it..

I've managed to get the p/w for one email... and p/words for the forum... but my main email , where all the important stuff goes is just not accepting my password, and then it says.. reset password, we'll send a link to your phone.. and of curse my phone is my old number which I changed last month...so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Can't get into the email... and can't the code to reset the password because they're sending it to a number that doesn't exist.

Looks like I might have to pay someone to come in a fix this.....:(
I saw the other day that Microsoft was discontinuing the App to save passwords. Evidently it
was getting hacked.

what breed is Ozzy dog ?:)

Well my DD has been trying to help fix this remotely, but nope it's not having it..... *sigh*... even my whatsapp on my phone has gone awry... so I have no idea what's going on.

I'm not a person who downloads anything dodgy... so I'm at a loss to know why this is happening

Yesterday I had to return to the dentist after my six month cleaning. A little tiny piece had chipped off one of my veneers. The price to fix it wasn’t so tiny. I forgot that they do freezing for fillings. His definition of just a little prick and mine weren’t the same. Good thing I cancelled lunch plans at a restaurant.

Well I'm clearly a genius..even if I say so myself...(y):sneaky:

I've got it all running again.. managed to go into all the techi side and get my primary email back, and youtube which is connected to that email address.

oridinarily if youtube was just something I watched, I would just create another Youtube account... but my Youtube has a lot of videos that are precious to me, videos I took myself, .. of people in the family, and the dogs that we've now lost.. etc.. so it would be a catastrophe to lose the youtube account..

All in all it's taken me 10 hours of working on it... I'm so tired... ..it's only 6.40pm, I'm trying to stay awake until a more respectable time, otherwise I'll wake up in the early hours

However not everything is fixed.. can't upload photos.. so clearly something is wrong.. so I I'll have to get someone in.

Last time it cost me £300 .. so I'm loathe to have to spend that again

Holly have you run the reset. It would be in settings. Takes maybe a couple hours.
If you haven’t reset before, go to MAC on Line for instructions. You can reset and
keep the functions too. Or reset and redo stuff. I remember Windows * 8 was a pain.
Had to run the reset on it every couple months. Then I replace the Hard Drive with a
bigger one. Now mine have 1TB, SSD solid state drives and max memory.

Today... well, I'll save one episode for just moment but will bring it in. So it was day mostly consisting of mowing shaggy grass, pulling weeds, watering various planted plots, talking a little with DD pn the phone, and taking my turn being the cook for tonight's dinner (a soup).

The huge relief of this day, arriving around 4:30pm, was the resumption of internet service to our location. There was a storm involving chain lightning several days ago. Due to a direct lightning strike to the nearest transmission tower, the wifi in our house was cut off from the internet for more than 90 hours!😒 Now it's back, and so I've logged-on to SF again! I've missed you folks.🤗

I think I've fixed it myself... many hours of work and hair pulling.. but I think I've done it.... (y)

Just don't take it 70 mph all afternoon on the expressway.

I know, thank you🤠

I never could “drive 55”. I got picked up driving 70 MPH last year and he let me go. Now I set the cruise control at 59.

I am getting that tire replaced next time I’m in town. Not that I don’t trust a plug, but I don’t, especially on my 1-1/2 lane road, where moving over for any big truck, generally means partially ditching— which is probably how I picked up the wood screw.

Imogene thas a cool choice, A Lag screw in a tire no mater the size is a Nasty wound!
It rips the guts out of it cause it can.
