She was talking about going to the beach. Maybe she found time to slip away for a couple of days.
 
I had a particularly productive day. This morning, I recorded piano, guitar and string track ideas for one of the HS#3's compositions that he and I are working on. I was able to play his track on my tablet, while recording both his and mine on my phone.

This afternoon, HS and I had studio time during which we put finishing touches on another track we are collaborating on. We're both happy with the way it's coming out. HS will ask my son to engineer and master it, since (HS) is a newbie when it comes to engineering. I came home to get lunch, review the questions I wanted to ask our guest and take a brief nap. I went back to the studio in the early evening to get ready for the broadcast. I co-hosted the second half of the show. As soon as it was over (that 30 minutes goes so fast !) we were getting positive feedback via texts and emails. That made the three of us feel really good.

After the show HS always goes to visit his father. Though it was late when he left, he picked me up to take me to Amazon Fresh again, so I could return a package and do my shopping. I waited until tonight so I could use my $10 off $40 coupon. Last night, they didn't have many of the items I wanted to get...tonight they had them all. We had to use self check out since the registers close exactly at 10. I was feeling a little tired in the morning and early afternoon, but now I'm energized.

Yesterday I was beat from my ride the previous day so I soaked, did some household chores, gym and took wife to Alturas Lake in the Sawtooths so she could paddle board. Nearly got in a head on w truck towing a travel trailer who thought swerving into the opposite lane w oncoming traffic was the proper course of action instead of slowing or stopping for the 2 bicyclists in his lane.

Today I want to ride, but eff the tourists on the roads and trails. So I had a 2 cup soak this am, off to the gym, and then enjoy our home and leave the tourists to themselves. It's a mad week w Allen & Co, the art festival, and perhaps the peak of camping season all in the mix. The campgrounds are full and dispersed camping areas look like small cities.

It must be great being a billionaire, no expense is too great to protect their precious lives. Lifeflight on standby, despite having another air ambulance just 3 miles away from this location.

Hanging around waiting for X-ray guy and his portable machine to come. Have infected big toe since January, when I stepped on a tack. No blood, but never healed. Of course, I am diabetic and things are not healing properly. Said he'd show up between 10 am & 6 pm. No way am I waiting around all day. Guy then said 10 am to 2 pm. Waiting two hours already. Tired of waiting. One doc I use only sends pharmacy to me, I can't pick up. Was waiting hours for that, last week, hours. Sick of this.
 
I have one goal for today. I'm hoping to clean the chest freezer, time to get rid of all that built up ice.

I've gone back to read some posts....so many of you are going through bad times. 🙁

I'm thinking about all of you, and sending healing energy for all of the loss, sickness, and injuries. Hugs to everyone!

Holly was talking about having trouble with her Mac ,but then she said she had it cleared up.
Maybe a beach / coast outing lasts the weekend?

I would appear to have 'Hay fever'. I've never been troubled before, but the pollen count is very high and a lot of people are suffering from it. Hopefully, it won't last too long as I've got a lot to do in the garden.

Ragweed here can get that way, the lil burrs usually warn me that I'm close to it and Poison Ivy.
 
Well, I booked three nights this week at a waterpark hotel to take my Littles on a mini-vacation and, of course, the weather is threatening for the three days we'll be there. Hopefully, we'll get some water fun in between storms. We'll make the best of it, whatever, since there are a lot of indoor things to do in the area, but DARN! I'm paying through the teeth for this hotel and I WANT TO SPEND ALL DAY AT THE WATERPARK!!!

Unfortunately, this was the only week we could squeeze it in.

They're all excited that they get their own room with bunk beds. They've been fighting for a week about who gets the top bunk. I told them if I hear arguing about it, I'M sleeping in the top bunk. I pray it won't come to that.....I'd never be able to get up there....LOL.
