Well I'm very happy to say I did o out for a couple of hours with my friend this afternoon......

We went to M&S to get some nice feel good food.... choccies and cake.. and nice cheeses... and fruit....

..then we went to the pub for a drink..... glorious, glorious sunshine...

I was a little bit freaked out because we got to M&S in North London.. fine no hold up, roads were very quiet.. althou' the retail park was very busy... but as we drove back on the same motorway on the opposite carriageway..there was a HUGE crash involving a Transit van.. and a car, in almost exactly the same situation as my collison.. they'd just come down the opposite slip road.. and the police were already in attendance , and blocking the roads... :(

Hiking with Otto and Heidi in early morning fog at 62 degrees. My 10-year old, almost 100 lbs. "Ross" can no longer go on long hikes.

Bottom right: But Ross still comes with us on our evening walks, and even my older daughter joined us. She took the pix with an iPhone selfie.

Very rare but I woke up at four in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Maybe I had gone to bed too early. Anyway, I made myself
a mocha and sat down by the pups who immediately cuddle on and were all over me. That felt so good. I couldn't live without dogs.

you're so lucky to have so much happening near where you live.....

Holly, you would have loved it. The sunshine did bring the crowds, but everyone was there to enjoy themselves even though most of them were unfamiliar with 1930's & 40's swingtime era music. Here's a few pics, just look at the smiling faces.

We have known most of the band members for many years. Patrick the band leader, commented that he had not seen us for a good while and thought that we might have moved away. He was quite shocked to learn of my wife's surgery, as was other band members. But on a happier note, Patrick gave us a couple of tickets for their next gig at The Regent in Christchurch next Sunday. It's a concert called: "A Night At The Movies." No dance floor at The Regent, but the band are always a treat to listen to.

Welp, brain is kicking into gear now after 3 cuppa's ....and I
have taken the first main pain pill of the day.....after my body
awoke I discovered bad pain in all the joints and low back
muscles....aint gonna deal with that, so a pain pill was in order...
So won't do much today, but didn't have any lists to do anyhow...be good to yourselves and each other !!!!;):love:

Morning all...

A different day today than yesterday's glorious sunshine.....overcast.... and dull

District nurse has just been and re-dressed my injuries... .

DD is due to call shortly in her lunch hour... I'm very worried about her because she's taken the news of her redundancy from her job extremely hard.. . There's nothing she can do about it because it's not just her, it;s the whole plant.. everyone has lost their job.. but she and another guy have been the only ones who have been allowed to stay on for 3 months to help with the winding up of the company.

It gives her longer to look for a job but it also means she can't leave or start another job before November.. so she's caught between a rock & a hard place..:(

Anyway, hope most of you have less stressful things going on.. 🌺🌷

Morning all, on my early walk at 6:45 a nice change temp wise, it was 60. I walked halfway up the street, crossed at the corner came back down and went halfway around the building before breakfast
My plan this morning is to re arrange my bedroom closet which is a tight fit for my clothes, the washer& dryer is on the other side. I hope to take a mid morning walk before lunch and one in afternoon
I've invited Don&his partner, Dave along with Dave's brother Bob&his wife Lynn for dinner tonight at 5:30. Bob&Lynn are visiting from S. Carolina, they were here last yr for lunch,I'm looking forward to seeing them again. It's also perfect way to get my food allowance down, because whatever I have left at the end of the month, I can;t roll it over

Awake about 2:30 this morning,, couldn't get back to sleep.

Thoughts of what am I going to do with this place after hubby dies ran through my head.

With the way his his brother & nephew argued with him.
Realize I want nothing to do with them after hubby is gone.

I have no other family members that live near by.

Am thinking I will sell this property & move closer to oldest son.
Whom I haven't told him of my thoughts,,,,,,oopps??

Perhaps at "tiny" house?
