Chilly start to the day here.

Hubby & I have talked for some time about getting another dog.
I think we have decided on getting an older ,, hope female Boston Terrier.

Just have to talk hubby out of the idea of becoming 'back yard breeders."

Yesterday,,used our battery powered branch trimmer on few Overgrown shrugs.
Didn't get the branches all picked up , & job not finished.

Hope to get back at that some time today.

Son & his daughter can't come this weekend to see us.
Guess brother in law has the drive way blocked, so we can't get some of hubby's tractors, etc out of garage.

Just got back from the Supermarket... ..Thursdays seem to be the new Saturday, for grocery shopping. I've noticed this over a few Thursdays now, ... and not so much on Saturdays.. but definitely on Sundays...

I tried to be as quick as I could today... I hate grocery shopping at the best of times.. but I just wasn't in the mood for it today... but I'd almost run out of milk, and fruit.. so I had to go... .. and of course I topped up on other things while I was there.. but I was fast..in and out in 30 minutes...

The supermarket is 2 towns away...... bit of an overcast day today.. and tomorrow I have to go out again to the Physio appt... but Friday traffic is horrendous everywhere.. so I thought it best to get the shopping today instead of tomorrow when I'm out...

All Media is headlining today with the senseless killings at the Manchester Synagogue

The slow and painful process of saying farewell.

My ten-year old Ross (second from the left) has a tumor in his mouth that keeps growing and makes it difficult to eat anything. Six months ago, he had a $1K surgery that didn't do any good. Now www.vdspets.com wants $6K for another surgery without guarantee of success. Sorry, I can't do it. Anyway, Ross has pretty much reached his life expectancy. www.rcdas.org/pet-services/humane-euthanasia will euthanize him on 10/9/2025.

Otto (on the far right) has a thyroid cancer, and my veterinarian recommends to put him to sleep. Well, I just want to keep him a little bit longer.

Burying Ross on our pet cemetery will break my heart.

Rex and Heidi are my buddies who will stay with me for a long time to come. They enable me to survive and to keep going.

Dearest @Jules Why are you angry when two of my pups have to be euthanized to end their suffering?

So sorry to hear about Ross and Otto.
Yesterday I read of Jane Goodalls love for dogs although she was known for her work with chimpanzees. She had mentioned the unconditional love dogs give. You cant beat that. Amd it seems that you gave the same.

@moviequeen1 Your 43F sounds just a bit too cool, even for me.

Soup is on the stove waiting for DD to get home with the one missing ingredient and bread is in the oven for the second rise.

Laundry is done and folded/put away/hung up but still have to put clean linens on the bed. Making that bed is right up there with my least favorite chores. Ugh. But getting into a freshly made bed tonight? Ahhh!

Hey! I even made time this morning to brush Maggiecat, something that was long overdue.

@hawkdon Have you started taking the new meds that your doc prescribed? Might that be the problem? Maybe it'll take a few days before your bod is used to them.
I did check on side effects on this new med, and nothing firm
on the way I'm feeling, but I believe it is causing my isssues,
which is not too serious....will give it till monday and if problem
persists or gets worse will call the doc.....

And it shouldn't.
