It's about time that Israel and Iran bury the hatchet and make peace. If they did that, they could become good trading partners. If they worked together, they could dominate the entire Mideast!

They should take the example of Germany and Japan who used to be involved in lots of wars before 1945. Today they have not been involved in any wars since 1945!

Stayed up last night making us a stew for today's dinner.
Trying to beat the heat.

Stew didn't meet with what I thought it should taste like.

O, well maybe after it's set in fridge ,,might taste better for lunch tomorrow.

Off to take Mac for a walk.

I must give passers by a chuckle as I walk the dog wear thin long sleeved shirt.

Nice weather here. Low 70s for a high. Today DH & I will be spending time with DD and her family plus the family of one of her besties. We know their close friends quite well - their children even call us Grandma & Grandpa! So it will surely be a very pleasant day indeed.

Not only bad things apply with the old expression, "What goes around, comes around." While growing up, our children were close to many of our friends and were comfortable around them, even adults without children or whose children were grown. These days, we're close to many of our children's friends, and are comfortable around them.

Some of our friendships of various generations are formed during our large holiday parties (with children of all ages welcome). We invite neighbors, young and old, and encourage our children to invite their friends and sometimes their friends' parents. Other relationships, now 25+ years standing, started when our kids were teens and we opened our house to their friends. Some of these these 40-ish "kids" stay in closer touch with us than with our children.

My mom had friends of widely different ages so this feels very natural to me. Friends of any/every age are blessings in our lives.

I've just been dealing with more red tape here.. it seems it never ends.. then I went onto the game thread to find some trouble-causing piece of work is calling me out on my Avatar saying it's Not me...

I'm not the person posting pictures of oher people as avatars as some people do here... ... whose picture am I going to be putting on here if not my own.,some people are ridiculous in their jealousy... ...it's appalling

Im trying to pay an annual subscription online... when I click ''pay now''..it wants to send the security numbers to my phone, but I just recently changed my phone number.. and it kept saying it was sending the security numbers to my old phone number.. so I searched and finally found a way to update my new number on their website... they acknowledged the new number, sent me an email saying is this your new number..?..I agreed... they said ok, the number has been changed and so I went back into the website to finish paying for my annual subscription.. and guess what ?... It STILL wants to send the notification to my OLD number :eek::eek::eek:

thanks HL... but isn't it just ridculous..can't think of some thing new to attack me with..lets accuse her of not being HER... just beyond belief...

You know what as well?... we never see anyone here accuse any men who are good looking of fake photos... just ridiculous how even when they're really old some people's jealousy never goes away
