Took a bunch of handheld Pixel 10 Pro images this Sunday afternoon at the rose garden I've been more seriously working with my a6700 system. With the garden at near spring peak color, large numbers of people including many larger groups, and wedding parties, were out this afternoon walking about, most with smartphone cameras. So many shots with people in the shots. Will make a thumbnail image later this week after I return from the below.
Not ready or prepared at all as of Sunday evening, but will tomorrow likely will pack up gear, add some local gasoline, then will be primed for what will likely be a 300 mile roundtrip, 12 gallon of gas, wildflower road trip up on our north coast. The weather forecast has changed daily the last couple weeks and finally I am seeing 2 days with low breezes.
Hard to predict the state of wildflower species because the weather this wet season has been unique. All flowers have been going through their bloom to seed cycles a few weeks early. On our north coast, some of our coastal shore bluffs have dense areas of low to ground wildflowers due to winds. Could be staying in a state park campground a couple nights so need to stop at a supermarket along the route.
