No more pictures for a week, I promise. But this morning, I had such a wonderful hike that I have to share it with you.

I wish I could bring my family here for a picnic. It's my favorite spot, and I rested for some time ... dreaming.



Generally, I don't let the pups walk off-leash because of coyotes. My pups are almost twice as heavy but can't match their ferocity.
There are no mountain lions in our closer area, no bears, but I am watching out for rattle snakes. Otherwise, it's safe to hike.

This is why he had the damn nerve to mail me after all these years of silence...and putting me through all that chit, because I never verbally battered him for what he did to me... at the time.. I was brokenhearted but I never told him what other people might have told him in the same situation.. people might have told him where to stuff his GF.. and himself where the sun doesn;t shine...

.... but he was still my husband and despite the way he snarled and spoke to me as if I was the one who had cheated, and not him... I didn't retaliate the same way because for me.. he was still my husband, I was still being ''nice'' to him... .. ..despite him cheating on me and putting me through the hell he did.......... but now... 5 years on.. now when I have my life on an even keel and him in my rear view mirror....

..you know when they say , there's a straw that breaks the camels back ?...... well suffice it to say... he knew that by my reply to his mail... he's such a coward i doubt that I'll hear from him again...

what's really annoying me now is that...he's back in my head... after it's taken me months now since my divorce last July to not have nightmares...

It will take time to get him out of your head. Your story is a lot like mine so I kinda know how you feel. Just remember, you are better and stronger than you were 5 yrs ago and you are not goingt to sink to his level ever again...be strong.

In a campground in California (I forget exactly where), they required everything with a scent be placed in that bear box. Including tooth paste, deodorant, shampoo, everything! I discussed this with an employee and asked him if those big Class A Motorhomes had to do that, too. He said no. I called BS on that since if a bear can tear into my van, it can certainly tear into an RV. A friend who had worked as manager for several campgrounds in that area said he had seen a bear tear open the side of a motorhome.

Give people a taste of authority and they soon lose all common sense, if there was any to begin with.

I admire you folks taking your morning walks and such. My morning "walk" is limited to getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, and going to the kitchen to make a single cup of coffee. No pictures are needed or wanted of that little jaunt. It's currently 92F here in Central Florida, with tonight's low of 76F. I have my A/C thermostat set at 79, and with the ceiling fans, I'm comfortable. @hollydolly I'm sorry to hear about your current conditions.

Your norning walk sounds a lot like mine. After a short rest in the kitchen I proceed to the porch to feed the kitties and their thanks makes it all worthwhile.

I was daydreaming about how much fun it used to be to exercise.
Like way back when my mom and I used to go jogging.

So I pulled out my Dynamic Runabout 7 bicycle, dusted it off and aired it up.
It's a 7 speed shaft drive bicycle. Yep lookit, shaft drive, no chain.
Kind of rare and fun to ride. Think I'll start riding a little every day.

Hubby didn't have to have the radiation done today.
The machine broke!
Doctor's office called before we left.
They hope to have it operating Friday.

I've done weed wracking,,made lunch have walked Mac twice

Want to get some flowers planted today .
