I had strawberries a few weeks ago. 1lb, ate them for a week..
Going to get a few lbs and freeze them so I do not need to eat so many.
Thank you for reminding me to get some more.

@Susa is your friend, Trila?..well we're glad to have here here (y)
Yes. @Susa and I met online 5 years ago. We talk to each other just about every day. I'm thrilled that she has joined The SF!

Quite a while back, someone commented on the cute emojis that I sometimes use, and asked where I find them. My answer was that I had a friend who found/made them. They are much better than anything that I could ever do on my own! That friend is Susa.....she is very talented!!

This talk about strawberries, reminds me that I need to go down to one of the local Whole Foods markets and buy to try out, a package of the more expensive at $6.99 for 14 ounces, Driscoll's Sweetest Batch strawberries. The nearby Santa Cruz and Monterey counties lead the nation in strawberry production. I often eat any berries I find out in natural areas with blackberries most common. Normally just buy whatever is in a supermarket, however I've noticed even the small sized wild beach strawberries that natively grow on some sandy beach dunes are often noticeably sweeter that those huge strawberries sold in supermarkets.

Went out with my B&D hedge trimmer and sawed off a patch of overgrown grass that, for some reason, my neighbor doesn't mow. It was about 2 feet long and going to seed.

Moved some houseplants out doors. These activities made me very sweaty and very tired.

Picked some catnip and took it to a woman I had promised last fall. I brought some then and the cats weren't too enthusiastic about it. I read online that catnip is best before it flowers. The kitties were much more receptive to it today.
