How long have you been sleeping on your mattress?

Correction in my post #21. Fat fingers typed 20 when it should have been 10 years.

An update to our Sleep Number mattress. We just replaced the foam side supports & the foam topper that is between the air bladders & the fabric top of the mattress. This is the first thing we have had to replace. We noticed the foam topper was torn on my husbands side when we took the fabric top off to be washed. The side foam was soft when we sat down so we replaced it at the same time since we were placing an order.

For $280 we have a "new" bed again. The bed still slept great even with the original foam, but it time to change it.

Hubby & I were talking & we figured we had been replacing mattresses every 3 to 4 years depending on its quality before we bought the Sleep Number. So after 10 years, we would have been on on number 3 or 4 with traditional mattresses.

Definitely a money saver over time.

Since July 24, 2020!

I bought a rock hard Plank twin mattress from Brooklyn Bedding online.

I was very leery of buying a mattress online but it turned out to be a good move for me.

It came compressed and I was extremely fortunate that the delivery driver was willing to huff and puff up three flights with it. I’m not sure that I could have shifted it on my own.

Four years going on five. I bought it shortly after moving into our new home. It was supposed to be temperature regulated and medium soft, but I always wake feeling too warm towards morning. As for being medium soft, I had to add a foam topper and a wool mattress cover, which is supposed to keep you warm when it is cold and cool when it is warm, but nope, not happening.
