How many doctors do you have?

It's kind of like counting tree rings. The more doctors you have, the older you are. I have four. There's another doctor related scale. It's how close are your appointments. When I was in my 20s, it was once a decade. Now it's once a month. But this method isn't as accurate as how many doctors you have. :)

I have one .... my psychiatrist who keeps me in antidepressants .I see him every 3 months. He's aslo filling in as my primary doctor since I don't have my own yet. (My primary doctor retired) I've already tried 2 different doctors , but didn't like either one ,so my search goes on. Oh yeah - I also have a wonderful dentist !

FIVE Primary Care--Oncologist--Rheumatologist---Dermatologist---Urologist ----

Going to medical appointments seems to be the highlight of my SOCIAL LIFE.

Up until September of 2015,just one. Unless I was pregnant, then two. Now?......

A Primary care doc
An oncologist
An oncology nurse who I see between visits with the oncologist
A breast surgeon
A Radiology Oncologist
An Endocronologist
A Podiatrist
A Urologist-Have only had to see him twice
An Opthamologist

What`s that? 9? Sheesh

They all say I am healthy though LOL!

What is that?

Sleep Doctor, Dermatologist, Urologist, PC, Dentist, Cardiologist, and Colonostopist (is that a word?) and I seem to keep them all busy.

One, My primary physician. Been with him for more than 30 years. He was still doing emergency room rotation when I first started with him.
I have been to other doctors for specific ailments, but once the cure came I never saw them again.
I do have an annual appointment with a dermatologist due to a nasty mole I had. Her wait list is months long so I go once a year so I can remain an active patient.

Primary doctor....generally only go once a year for the annual Medicare exam....eye doctor, once a year, for new glasses....and dentist twice a year for cleaning and any minor fillings, etc.

I'm 76. Primary MD with Kaiser-Permanente. If you consider that Kaiser has hundreds of doctors, then potentially hundreds. Last time I saw anybody but primary was two summers ago when she sent me to a Kaiser ophthalmologist when there was a hole in my retina.

And a dentist, if dentists count.

Primary doctor. Female. So far I'm pretty sure most of me is working okay. (I'm 81) I have discombobulating shaking from head to toe (Essential Tremor http://tremortales.com but I no longer see a doctor about that. Nothing I've tried to slow it has helped anyway.

I'm like Lara, not too much going on. I rarely see a doctor, just go every few years to check my blood, glucose, etc. I go to Kaiser, so whatever doctor I get the day I go I'm fine with, I don't have one in particular that I ask for or particularly like. I hate going to the doctor, and try to avoid it.

I will be getting a new pcd this month, and I also see a nurse practitioner-it is my understanding that they are equal in training to an MD. So I see 2.

PCP, Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist, Glaucoma specialist, GYN, Dentist and will likely find a Podiatrist soon.
