How many people have you opened your door to today ?

We get deliveries all the time but they typically just drop off on the front porch. If family wants drop by they usually text first to make sure we’re home because we’re always out and about.

It’s usually our various neighbors who will come to the door, even though they all have our phone numbers. Everything from “some of the boys are heading over to shoot some pool come on over!” That’s for Ron. Also for Ron is folks wanting to borrow a tool, or advice on some handyman type project.

The gal next door is young, but she will often come knocking to get my advice on decorating, or to see if I want this or that (she’s slowly clearing out her yard and storage and I’ve gotten some nice pots and a couple gardening tools.
 
Today being Sunday, no-one thus far at almost 5pm has knocked, but there's a potential for my neighbours to knock, because it's hot today, they have the kids in the pool, and the BBQ is on the go.... so it's very possible they'll be around with a plate of food...

None. We rarely get people knock on our door. We have a storm door and if a solicitor comes we only open the regular door and turn him down through the storm door. We installed it when we moved in 19 years ago because burglars were kicking in front doors. We figured they would skip the homes with two doors.
