How many times daily do you usually change your clothes lol

I am outside and at the barn a lot, so it depends on the weather and if I have to go somewhere.

I was in a big rush trying to get things in order for when the kids got here. For the first time ever, I left the barn, got in the car, and ran errands. I did have the decency to take off my Muck Shoes and put my good tennis shoes on.

The way I see some people clothed in Walmart, wearing my horse smelling barn clothes to the store was a step up——-

Slovenly attire affects my general attitude for the day.

@Murrmurr, I replaced my aprons with an oversized woman’s shirt.
Great idea!

I made one for Michelle from an old housecoat of my mom's that had lace-trimmed pockets and little hearts & roses print. She always forgets to wear it, though. That's what I tell myself, anyway ;). (Michelle's not a fan of frilly things)

I don't even feel whole until I've taken a shower and spruced up. I will rarely even take a call. I think this comes from working at home and feeling like I needed to be "professional".

I wake up in my boxers and t-shirt, then have my coffee and watch TV for a couple of hours in my home office. Then I shower and usually change into gym clothes. I stay in them until right before hubs gets home, then take a quick shower and go back to boxers and t-shirt. Rinse, repeat. I only wear "street clothes" if we are going to lunch, a movie or a play.

I don't consider putting on a sweatshirt or a jacket over what I'm wearing as changing clothes since I always wear them over a shirt.

It depends on what I'm doing that day and the time of year it is. It's usually somewhere between zero and two most days but sometimes it's more.

I'm another one of those who sleeps au natural so when the weather is consistent throughout the day and it's not a shower day (I usually shower every other day). I get up, put on my clothes and leave them on until it's time to go to bed. So those are my zero days.

On days I shower I get up, wear what I was wearing the day before, take the dogs out for a walk and then sometime later in the day I shower. Sometimes I only change my shirt and socks and wear the same pants or shorts that I was wearing the previous two days if they're still clean enough.

On days I climb I at a minimum I wash my feet and put on new socks and my climbing clothing before going to the gym. Then when I get home if I showered as well I put on a new shirt and either the previous two days shorts or pants or a clean set of shorts or pants. So those days I change my clothing twice even if it's into the clothing I was wearing before going climbing.

If my wife and I are going out to a special dinner or event I'll change into nicer clothing to do that. If it's a midday event I'll often change back into the clothing I was wearing when I get home. So it can be as many as five times on some days but those are rare.

We live in an area that can be cool or chilly in the morning and hot in the afternoon so on those days I might start out in pants and a long sleeve shirt and then change into shorts and a short sleeve shirt later on in the day.

In addition to the times listed above I also sometimes change into clothing to work in the yard or under the house. So that's another time I might change my clothing.

mostly once - pjyamas to clothes in morning and then wear them all day, back to pyjamas at bed time. Or does that count as twice?

sometimes twice if i do a run i n the morning then have shower, change out of sports clothes.
sometimes twice if been at work all day and then going somewhere in the evening

For years after I retired I was "on call" as a caretaker for multiple people so I got used to sleeping in whatever I wore that day.
Never knew when there would be an incident. So it was just easier to roll out of bed dressed. Now Im just used to it.

So for me once a day. Twice if Im going out and about. Maybe technically three times since I usually put my morning clothes back on.
All my clothes are comfy. Except some of my dress up stuff. I kept two "paint " outfits and got rid of the rest of my stash of my "chore" outfits. I dont paint that often.

I kinda categorize my clothes into levels. Dress up. Out and about. Home. Mucking and painting. I save my favorites for dress up and out and about. Im tall and hard to fit and I like colors that are hard to find. But I have started wearing my lesser favorites at home and.
I got rid of most of the mucking clothing. Im not getting any younger. I dont want to turn into my Mother who would only wear old clothing and kept everything back for "good". If I get stuff on something when Im crafting or cooking oh well.
I do have some aprons though. (Not the frilly ones).

I feel more "me" when I wear clothes that I feel good in. Besides it seems like everytime I look like a homeless person some fool shows up at my door.
