How much should store bagels cost?

It's been so long since I bought bread because I've been getting it free from the sernior center where the supermarket sends over day-old bakery items. But now that the center is closed, I am running out of bread I had in the freezer. I looked at the market's web page and a 6-count package of their own bakery bagels is $6.99. Is that high?

Yes I would let them sit. They'd have to taste so fantastic, nothing would compare. Buying them encourages price gouging.
