How often do you entertain?

We hadn’t invited anyone over for dinner (other than the kinfolk) since before Covid. Then even when the restrictions lifted/we were vaccinated, the kitchen/living room space was being demolished and rebuilt, and it’s only been the last several weeks when it was done enough (it’s still not finished) to start having friends over again though the family have continued to come over through all the renovations.

Judy and Ken have been friends for 25 years and because Ken is a hobbyist carpenter they’ve been dying to come over and see what we’d done. It was a laid back, lovely evening. I made a charcuterie board appetizer, pork tenderloin with sautéed asparagus and squash casserole for dinner, and they brought a delicious homemade peach cobbler with French vanilla ice cream for dessert. Lovely evening with good friends. 💕

Have you started entertaining again since Covid has eased up?

No entertaining as of yet; still spooky in the deep south Texas. Your charcuterie board is lovely as is your home.
