So, how often do you grocery shop? I am referring to shopping for food and the items that you purchase at the grocery store. Please do the poll and, if you wish, comment below. 🍎🥥🍠🥕

Most of the time I order my groceries from Aldi's once a week. I have at times, like maybe once a month, ordered some groceries from Lucky's too.

Frequently. I enjoy cooking and love fresh healthy food which I believe is fuel for the body and a medicine of sorts. So, I'm always stopping in to the grocery to pick up fresh this or that. There are so many good grocery stores where I live, why ever not?

I do my major grocery shopping once a week, usually supplementing those acquisitions with a shorter secondary run to a smaller market to pick up fresh items or anything else needed...

about once every fortnight, or sometimes 3 weeks I freeze a lot . Actually it's been proven that frozen veggies and fresh fish hold more nutrients than fresh, unless you either grow your own, or catch your own fish.

I actually hate grocery shopping, but rarely ever get it delivered I like to feel the quality of the goods myself and check dates.

I don't have enough room to store vast quantities of bread, and cinamon and raisin bread doesn't freeze well either, so they are usually the only things I need to top up during the periods of supermarket shopping..

I shop a few times a week as an excuse to get out of the house or when I have a little errand to run.

All of the major grocery chains in the area have a store within five miles of my home so it allows me to shop the specials or buy certain products that I prefer from each store.

It would be difficult for me to make all of my purchases in one store but I've been thinking of giving it a try with a chain store that is located a few blocks from my apartment. I figure if I don't have the strength to carry it that far I probably shouldn't be eating it, LOL!

Too often. Mostly we make a menu, but sometimes Dave will see something on TV and decide to make it, so off we go to the store. Sometimes we're in Walmart for another reason and we get some groceries too. Seriously, we should go once a week, but even when we've got a menu planned out we cant seem to manage it. I will say we are blessed with several very nice stores in the area, including a Natural Grocer and soon-to-be Aldi.

Sadly we both have mobility problems , so we have our shopping delivered weekly . Not had very many dissappointments .
It's great that we can get stuff delivered isn't it...the shoppers usually do a good job for me. I get the best looking produce and meat. I've been very pleased how well they do.

I tend to run out of odd things like coffee creamer, salad dressing and my furkids are quite spoiled and enjoy their treats...a lot,lol
There's a dollar General less than a mile that works for fill-ins.

Have to travel 10 miles to the nearest grocery store, so once a week. The chain grocery store in the next town closed down years ago. I miss it still.

Up until this week I always had Instacart ( food delivery ) they only charge $4 so that’s pretty cheap. I had a large order with our local food chain, well the delivery girl left the food receipt in one of the bags!! I know I’m not getting the store price that they charge a little more BUT my order came to $161, i was charged $215- $54 extra, that ends my delivery!! Buyer beware!!

I never get orders that large but I know the prices in the stores are somewhat less than online at Aldi's. I can imagine that other stores charge quite a bit more. I, too saw a receipt in the bag but it wasn't that much less than what I paid plus there is a delivery charge and service charge and tip. I can see why you wouldn't want delivery anymore but that has never happened to me. I really have no choice but to get delivery. I don't have a car or anyone to take me shopping.

Ruthanne, that’s my problem too, I don’t drive either! My granddaughter takes me food shopping but we both hate to go, I have an Aldi’s here, maybe I’ll try them with a small order.

I've been happy with them. I order once a week.

InstaCart delivers for Aldi's here. Aldi's site states you may be charged more for certain items delivered as opposed being purchased in the store.

Pricing

Prices vary from in-store
Item prices may vary from in-store prices in your area. Prices may be higher than in-store prices to cover the cost of personal shopping.

My grocery store has their own staff to shop and deliver, so prices are not changed. I just pay 5.00.

yes, aldi's does state that but they don't charge ridiculous prices. I stated earlier that there is a delivery charge and a service charge and an optional tip which I feel is fair. There are other stores on instacart too which may charge even more than aldi's. Your store probably has higher prices already and that's how they can deliver to you for seemingly less. I pay 3.99 for delivery if order is over 35., about 2. service charge and about 2. tip with the amounts I purchase.
