How often do you wash your hands ?

Most people wash their hands before meals and after using the bathroom, how often do you wash yours ?

When you think of all the germs on lurking on surfaces, door handles, coins, banisters, it can get you a bit paranoid

I wash mine approx 10/12 times a day, how about you ?

Every time I use the bathroom but I am here to tell you that probably 90% of the men who use washrooms do NOT wash their hands. Can't tell you anything about the gals, though. LOL

Living with animals, I wash my hands often, at least hourly depending on the number and types of interactions with them...but cleanliness is not only next to godliness, it's next to impossible!

Too many to count and then there are the dishes several times a day.

IMO it is important to keep your hands to yourself as much as possible. Some people appear to be born touchers and have to handle every item that they see, touch any surface that they go near or touch any person that they speak to.

Each and every time before I begin meal prep, so three to four times/day, then, as well as each time I use the restroom and each time I return home from outside. Total, I'd say about twenty times a day.

Often. One thing we always try to do is use the hand sanitizer and wipe down the handles of the shopping cart. Having said that, I refuse to live like every surface harbors a disease just waiting to kill me. I'm 69 and don't have immunological problems, so I just live my life and use common sense and good hygiene.

Probably more than I should, my hands are so dry so I use a lot of cream. One thing I learned, I don’t touch anything in the stores without my gloves on, because it’s winter time I can wear them without looking to strange....lol

Often. After using restroom, before any kitchen work, after working in the shop, after I come in from being out. I also use the wipes for shopping carts and use the foam dispensers in doctors offices.

I shower at least twice a day.

At the very least, every time I use the bathroom and before doing anything in the kitchen, so over a dozen times a day. I don't use hand sanitizer unless someone in my house is sick or I'm on a cruise ship.

All the times listed above. Last week I took the time to use those disinfectant wipes on my doorknobs,phones and keypads. I must say,the doorknobs really needed it.

Many times a day, and I have those disinfectant wipes handy for wiping everyday things down often.... phone, TV remote, door handles, keyboard, mouse, etc.
I use them also in the elevator at my apartment, wiping buttons and bars in there, and also the hallway trash chute handle.

Horrible, true story: In the restroom, at an airport, waiting to board a flight to Jamaica. I'm using the facilities, mounted on the wall. There's a terrible stench coming from the stalls. A guy opens a stall door, and comes out. He is a total grease ball!: Brightly colored, garish clothing, huge, gold chain around his neck, pointed shoes, hair so greasy, it shines, brightly, and is slicked back, tightly, on his head. He's about 5'6". He's disgusting. So, what does he do upon exiting the stall, after stinking up the place? Wash his hands? NO! This human ball of slime checks himself out, in the mirror, and then ... runs both hands through his hair, to slick it back, even more, and then......EXITS! I kid you not, unfortunately

I think you are right and I find that somewhat troubling. I used to think about that when I shook hands fairly often during a day.
I have actually had to go back to the bathroom and wash my hands if I remembered that I forgot to do so the first time I was in there. I'm not OCD, but I think washing one's hands after using the bathroom is just being hygiene.

And this is why I NEVER help myself to the mints that many restaurants have in a dish or basket as you leave. Men walk out of the restroom and ruffle through them-yuck. As far as the ladies...they do always "seem" to wash their hands,but maybe that`s just because there are other women there.Too often I have walked in to the restroom just as someone was getting ready to leave and it doesn`t appear that they made that stop at the sink....

Oh,and I probably wash my hands at least 10 times a day-not counting dishes and hand sanitizer. Mr. Robinson is a little OCD and washes his hands probably twice as often as I do lol.
