How often do you wash your hands ?

And this is why I NEVER help myself to the mints that many restaurants have in a dish or basket as you leave. Men walk out of the restroom and ruffle through them-yuck. As far as the ladies...they do always "seem" to wash their hands, but maybe that`s just because there are other women there.Too often I have walked in to the restroom just as someone was getting ready to leave and it doesn`t appear that they made that stop at the sink....

eeeeewwww, I never thought of that. Sigh, there goes those wonderful Andes Mints . . . . . . . . .

I have not made this comment about men not washing their hands from recent observations but observations over many years. Actually, when I come across a man washing their hands I am really surprised. Now, you probable don't want to hear my other washroom observation. Men standing at the urinal, doing their business with one hand while shouting into their "smartphone" with the other. Happens more times than you can imagine. Lots of time to talk on the smartphone but no time to wash their hands. Strange! What a "wonderful" way to spread germs.

Too many to count and then there are the dishes several times a day.

IMO it is important to keep your hands to yourself as much as possible. Some people appear to be born touchers and have to handle every item that they see, touch any surface that they go near or touch any person that they speak to.
That's o.k. As long as you don't touch your face and especially your nose. That's how you get infected.

Depends on the facilities. At the casino I frequent from what I observe. The majority wash their hands because there is soap, towels, and dryers available and lots of sinks and room. I can't tell you how many times the towel dispenser or soap was missing from other washrooms.

I have never counted it but a lot. Having worked in health care, I am well aware of the dangers out there. I live in senior housing and am very careful in the elevator or any of the public areas.

We shop in a smallish shopping centre where there is a small food court/ Aldi / Costco / Coles and about a dozen other shops
It’s amazing how many you notice in the toilets with food aprons on that don’t wash their hands they come out of the toilets and head for the door Eeeeeww...
Id think I was my hands more than a dozen times a day especially while cooking a meal
When I go to the public loo I always touch the tap in twice to wash my hands

Well here food preparers wear latex gloves.

Besides after the bathroom, I'll wash my hands as soon as I get home from running errands. I know how many thing I've touched that hundreds of other people touched.
Ya know, I don't get flu shots & my last flu was 38 years ago....maybe that's what's working.

Washing dishes, after I use the restroom. when I come home from the store, at night when i get ready for bed and whenever I feel the need to. I am constantly washing my hands when I cook. I am a clean cook.. I would definitely eat my own food.:ROFLMAO:

I don't know how many times, but I wash my hands a lot. When I use the restroom, before I prepare a meal, after I walk the dog, when I come home from shopping (also use cart wipes), when I do any work outside, when I tend to the litter box daily, etc., etc. I think washing your hands often is key to keep colds and the flu away, can't remember the last time I had either. Knock on wood. When I was still working and around people a lot, I washed my hands even more often.

After using the bathroom, after touching any public places like grocery stores or stores of any kind I’d say about six times a day. I also use hand sanitizer.

A ridiculous amount of times per day. I keep saying I'm going to keep count but haven't so far. One morning though...I had washed my hands 10 times before even having breakfast and I usually eat breakfast by 7 - 7:30 a.m. I have to keep hand cream in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom otherwise my hands would get too chapped. A couple of years ago, I wasn't using hand cream often enough and my thumbs got so dry that they were cracking, painful and I could hardly do anything.

I hope all of you folks who are frequent hand washers are TURNING THE WATER OFF WHILE YOU SCRUB RATHER THAN LETTING IT RUN FULL BLASTDOWN THE DRAIN!!! 😭

Water is going to one day be in short enough supply as it is without us letting it go down the drain unused and wasted!!! ;)(y)

I wash my hands every time I use the bathroom, and then in the kitchen when preparing or getting food.
