My mom was 34 years old.

I weighed 6 lbs, 8 oz.

My mother was 25 y/o. My father was 35 y/o. I am an only child. My mother had been told she could not conceive, so I guess I was the "miracle baby". My parents always made me feel that way, so I have no complaints.

During the war, with most of the men away fighting, life was put on hold for most people. Many women married later than they would normally have done. My mother was one of them. She was 25 when she married and 26 when she had me.

Sister born in 1958, mom was 36, I was born 1960, little sister 1962.

Almost the same as our family. Oldest daughter born in 1957, a sister in '58, our only son in '61, and our 3rd daughter in '62. All live quite close and we see them on a regular basis. All are married and enjoy each others company which allows the grandkids / great grands to mingle as they've grown.
