How old were you when you left school and what did you do?

I graduated H.S. & worked on the family farm. That fall I turned 18 and went off to Junior College for 2 years while continuing to
work at the farm. Then I started a Daytime Job with a Material Handling firm and went to night school for 4 years 2 nights a week.
Learning Machining, welding, cutting & Brazing/soldering and mechanical repairs. All that led to a career in the Industrial Maintenance field.
45 years at the same Company + continuing in the agricultural area of the farm. During all that time I did work all day and all night.
The time flew by and drug depending on how tired I became. I sleep better now than in my whole working career. Sometimes I
Dream about work, they usually have interesting characters in them.
 

Finished my BS in Forestry at 22, one semester behind my classmates and then worked for the Sawtooth NF. The summer and fall was a glorious time to be in the woods cruising timber. We camped all over the forest and explored a new area of it every week.

Graduated college at 22, joined the Navy, five years later went to work for a stock broker, couple years after that left for a job in the headquarters of a bank, where I met my wife and eventually retired.
