How to get GoodRx discounts, without a mobile phone?

I haven't ever used anything from GoodRx, and I don't comprehend how it works, or what options there are, in how to use it.

Can I use it without using a mobile phone?

My pharmacy does accept it, and my script is expensive but applicable.

Could I just go to pick up the script at the pharmacy,
and ask them for that discount?
Would the Pharmacy then get the coupon for me, or apply the discount?

Or do I need to request a coupon online, myself, at GoodRx, first,
and print it from my laptop before going to the pharmacy for the script?

Or would I have to request a card to be mailed to me, and wait for it?

Could someone else who wants to pick up my script for me from the pharmacy, be able to ask for the discount for me, at that time?

Thanks for any suggestions, on the easiest way to get their discount, without a mobile phone.

All I know is that I print out the coupon from my computer. They accept it and put it in to their system, so that you can use it over and over, till it expires. The pharmacy will not have the coupon.

I have had my neighbor pick up a 'scrip for me, and all they did was call me to verify it was legit.
This was at Walgreen's. There was no coupon involved in that transaction.

Hope that helps!

Thank you, @dobielvr
That is all actually helpful!

If I print out the coupon from my computer, do you think that the other person would be able to show it at the pharmacy, to get the discount for me, when they pick it up for me?

Oh, sorry, @dobielvr
I read your post above, again, and now, I've understood that you didn't use a coupon, when the other person picked up the script for you.

They may be able to pick it up for you using the coupon. Probably would be best to call and ask them first.., just to be sure.

I get a card from my dental plan and my doctor gave me a card a few months ago. I was hoping my granddaughter, who's away at college could use it. I gave her the one from the dental plan which has no pharmacies listed. The newer one my doctor gave me has 5 pharmacies shown on it, including Walgreens and CVS. But she told me she could not use the card at Walgreens, which surprised me. This reminds me, I meant to send her a picture of the new card.

Reading this thread has been helpful. I'll tell her to try using the app and to Walgreens again. I wonder if she can get discounts by showing the photo of the card. I'm going to call and find out.

Thanks to all of you, for the ideas, info and support.

My update is that I got through the steps, for the first time, and did accomplish getting a coupon to print, from my computer.:D

My wife has Goodrx gold card I think the subscription is about $9.95 a month We have Optumrx as the source for our cholesterol so that is free. The cost for her solifenacin succinate= generic vesicare thru Optumrx is significantly higher than thru GoodRx Gold. 100 tabs are $27.00 thru GoodRx Gold

We used to buy that med thru a Canadian Pharmacy because at the time that was the least expensive.

I use walgreens and have never had any issues using Good rx, I use to go to Good rx and find the coupon for the med and select walgreens and print it out and take it, I even had others pick it up too with no problems.

I then started calling walgreens and just giving them all the numbers off the coupon that were on Good rx site coupon without printing it

About a month ago I saved about 35.00 on a prescription using Good RX, it sure helps out.

GoodRx sent both my wife and I a laminated card at no cost. I showed it to my pharmacy (Walgreens) and they entered my card number into the system. Now I just ask them to check the GoodRx price, it is cheaper, they charge me the lower price with me having to show anything since my account has already been entered.

YOu can request a card online --

I was told and I can't recall by whom that the Good rx card discount is not as much as the good rx coupon on line.I have no idea how true that is.
