How would you explain karma?

How would you explain karma?​


The opposite of 'excited' I suppose, you know, you've heard the saying 'cool karma and collected'. :LOL:
 

I know the rich and powerful can do some bad things but they do some good one's too. (Thank you Andrew Carnegie.) But their world is so far from mine, I don't think about it much.

Instead, I live in the center of the opioid addiction and we hear about people doing terrible things to their own family members while in the clutches of the addiction. We can't really blame them either because they are fighting such a strong urge. I would hate to think they would have to come back, after they OD, in another life and be miserable all over again to atone for what they did in this life.

I also hate the idea of having to see myself through the eyes of every person with whom I ever interacted. I worked in customer service jobs all my life, usually between 50 and 300 people a day. I tried to be kind and most of them left my teller window or loan desk happy enough, but some of them blamed me if they didn't qualify for a loan and went away angry. It's not how I planned to spend eternity! ;)

Plots, characters and themes only slightly rearranged.

we see back, forwards and/or sideways across time/space.
We perceive/remember/foresee other time/space here/nows.

There are only so many stories.
We are repertory company actors:
hero in one, villain in another;
Ingénue, crone…all too soon, and then a child again.
We challenge each other bringing out best and worst performances.
Sometimes we support each other well, often we just steal scenes.
We wound each other and heal each other.
We walk away, or bear witness and comfort.

There are only so many stories.
They echo thru space/time.
There are only so many stories.
We perform them in varying costumes.
Who produces, who directs and who is our audience?
There are only so many stories,
Shadows of reality
that resonate and echo in the soul.

I don't see that anywhere on my keyboard!

It's my understanding, one can request to come back to Earth, or to another world or enjoy the heavenly abode or remain in what is called (by the Angels) as the "opening", meaning the opening of the heavens, where they adjust to what is happening and receive counsel for whatever is needed. Whatever the soul desires is given.
The whole purpose of all of this is to help the soul grow and evolve into God consciousness! There are things we can only receive while in a human body (as through the senses) so, the soul may request to be born here again.
ALL HAPPENINGS ARE FOR THE GROWTH OF THE SOUL, TO BE CLOSER TO THE BEING!

When I commented on HazyDavy's outlook, I believe he was referring to "in the Heavens". You certainly do not have to reflect on everyone's feelings about you in this life. You will understand so many things after you leave the body! JUST BE!
BE WHO YOU ARE! You are a lovely lady with much feeling and intellect!

I honestly don't know much about karma as I have no roots in Eastern religions and I quit the "Western" church when I was eight years old and never went back. What I speak of is NOT religion, it's spiritual!
The things I know were given and explained to me by the Holy Angels, (of which there seems to be no interest anymore).
But karma makes sense to me, and I believe in an infinite, ever growing continuous creation in multiverses after multiverses!
There seems a consensus that karma is a method of revenge or a vindictive movement.(at least on this thread), but, if it is a law, it is so much more entailed than any of us know. There is incredible intelligence and unbelievable organization n the cosmos!
Angels and gods know things we can't even guess!
I am so saddened by the hatred of God and of Angels. (from my Angel thread) We, here, look at things from only one perspective.
Open your view to understand things from different vantage points!

To me karma is what comes around goes around. You mistreat someone you will be mistreated or have something bad happen to you in return. I've seen karma in action. It's awesome that the universe basically rights something on it's own.

It isn't on keyboard but you can create it by using a combo of keys: press Alt key then 0169, i think holding alt key. I copied/pasted from the site i originally posted it on and so the symbol was already there

Tomorrow morning when I'm on my desk top i'll seeif i can find the link to page that gives shortcuts for a bunch of symbolS

Buckeye, This is true and very perceptive of you.
It's my belief the ancient writings of the Holy Bible has been changed to a translation of a translation of a translation of a remembered series of events. These were changed by the "church" to take out anything relating to the metaphysical and to bind people to the church through
fear.
This is my view and not yours.
I am not suggesting I am right and you are wrong. I don't mean to debase your religion in any way.
"karma" is from a 6000 year old religion of the Siddhas.
We all have different perspectives to try to make sense of this world.
