Just happened by today and saw a lot of good conversation. Y'all had some suggestions for cutting off gift giving to adult grandkids - I liked it and decided to hang around. I'm 3 years retired from managing rail fleets and loving most every minute.

Actually I am in the Clear Lake area and about 2 miles from League City. I use the Clear Creek Clinic there when I need a doctor.
 
Hello Jackie Blue: Welcome to our happy little group. We have spent 2 winters in Texas. Nice place. We especially like Port Isabel. We stayed at Long Island Village; last stop before the 2.7 mile bridge to South Padre. Real nice folks there who know how to treat seniors nice. Wish I could go back.
