I guess since I've posted in another thread I should go ahead with the introduction.
The wife and I will be retiring in January so I've been scouting out forums like this. Next year will be spent closing down life where we are and moving to Florida - not because that's where old folks are supposed to go(!) - but because that's where the daughter and grandchildren are. They are both under 6 and we want to be a part of their lives as they continue to grow up.
Even though the wife keeps looking at houses in their neighborhood - I keep telling her - no matter what he says out loud, I promise you, the son-in-law does NOT want us living in the same neighborhood!
