In what way? What’s going on? How can we help?I'm starting to do very poorly.

You are fortunate. Here in PA, we can’t even visit relatives. I received word from the grocery store where I work that starting on Monday, we will be limiting the number of people allowed into the store at one time. This is getting crazy. I feel bad for our high school and college Seniors. They will not be able to hold a graduation. Some schools are considering rescheduling until September.I am a "lucky ducky" who lives in an apartment with some really nice folks. We are getting together tonight for coffee & pie & "chin wagging". Yes, we will limit to 10 & yes we will keep 2 meters apart but we will have a nice time. Better than sitting alone. Family gatherings are out; I'm afraid for this year.
Yup, I need a haircut as wellSorry to hear that Aneeda72.
Life here goes on much the same. We go out for walks (weather permitting) or do some gardening (weather permitting) or shopping - business as usual in that respect. It's the small things like not being able to buy seeds or have a haircut.
What also 'bugs' me is the constant update programmes on TV, and repeat information from "experts" who give you the impression that they haven't a clue as to what's happening.
I’m fine, Pepper is struggling.Sorry to hear that Aneeda72.

They still doSlowly going nucking futz. Watching TV is problematic because of hearing loss (and I have misplaced one of my hearing aides), so I spend too much time on line, which irritates my SO no end. Still have yard work to do, which is my least favorite thing. So I eat too much of everything, especially the wrong things. (blood sugar reading this morning was 186)
Didn't folks used to call this being "stir crazy"?
Funny, Gaer...my mom used to say she loved men whose eyes were crusin' ad faces looked like a hundred miles of "bad road"...lol.Haha! Todayi snuggled up with Bert Landcaster, Gregory Peck, Glenn Ford, Gary Cooper, Rod Taylor, streamin. But what I'm REALLY looking for is a cross between Dan Hagerty and Monte Wooley. If I don't hear a man's deep voice pretty soon, . . .! TeeHee!
Tomorrow, I'm going to learn to do some TikTok dances, maybe some artwork. Hope you all have a nice Easter!
Same here - I actually started making plans to become 'social' and stop hiding at home - one of several things that I should have done prior to the shutdown. Strange, but timing has never worked out for me. Really wonder if your flu symptoms were flu - but glad that whatever it was didn't knock you to the ground. I really hope that, whenever this is over, I still want to join a Senior Center. Time will tell.Just when I was ready to socialize again in life this isolation was required...
I can't tell you! I'll break if I do. ((Aneeda))In what way? What’s going on? How can we help?
I can never figure out how to private message, but if you decide you just want to talk to me when you are ready private message is fine. No pressure. I’ve been through a lot in my life, no judgements from me. Lol, and no unwanted advice, just a shoulder to cry on or someone to vent to. Plus with my poor memory next week I will have forgotten what you said.I can't tell you! I'll break if I do. ((Aneeda))
Yes, but who's open today to go rob?It just dawned on me. This is a great time to pull off a robbery.. There are no witnesses- everybody is off the street. You are wearing a mask, and so is everybody else. Plus, gloved hands don't leave fingerprints. And you have a great alibi: you were home hunkering down.
I won't be posting, tomorrow.
I live in Vegas..so you can imagine how we miss the Casinos...it’s a ghost town.So far, so good. We're used to a quiet lifestyle, and live in the boondocks, so some degree of "isolation" is fairly normal. I've got plenty of outdoor work to do...weather permitting, and my wife is keeping busy doing a bunch of sewing, etc. Our visits with the kids and grandkids is down a bit, but we still stay in touch with phone calls, etc. Perhaps the biggest "impact" is we can't go to the casinos...they are all shut down....but that saves us some money.
Yes and hope she in for weeks instead of one week like in the past.I have heard from other friends who have a relationship with people that take meds for bi-polar and they tell me that they will stop using their meds from time to time because it causes them to feel freaky and not theirself, restlessness, can't sleep and other issues. Sounds horrible to me.
She's in the hospital now?
She may come back pretty drugged up and kinda like a zombie for awhile, (from what I've heard) but there are health care professionals on this forum who would know better. I honestly don't know squat about it except it's got to be pretty hard on you! Stay strong!Yes and hope she in for weeks instead of one week like in the past.
Here, banks are only providing drive through service. I guess you could still try a robbery by sending your note in through the carrier. Better send your gun in along with your note.....just so they know you are serious. It just dawned on me. This is a great time to pull off a robbery..
