I can't watch regular networks anymore because of the ads and even have a hard time watching sporting events.
I know what you mean. An hour show is actually about 41 minutes when commercials are eliminated. A half hour show runs 21 minutes. That's
a lot of ads to sit through. Sometimes on regular T.V. there's 5 in a row! I tolerate ads with my Philo subscription because it has an extensive catalog of HGTV beach front home buying shows, which I love, as well as other HGTV shows on demand. (
@Ken N Tx ). More recently I'm tolerating The CW so I can watch the season of Stargirl. At least they seem to have cut back on the amount of commercials.
@MarciKS Hulu streams T.V. shows in their catalog the next day after airing. With some series, they have entire seasons. For instance I've been watching Stargate Atlantis...really got into it, Blue Bloods and will probably re-watch Sleepy Hollow. They also air current seasons of some really good network shows: Grey's Anatomy, This Is Us, Blue Bloods, 9-1-1, Blindspot, Chicago PD (heard it was really good), S.W.A.T. and Law & Order SVU as well as many other shows, including their Emmy winning originals. They carry news programs such as World News Tonight with David Muir (my favorite), Good Morning America, 20/20. I wasn't that crazy about their movie collection but lately I'm finding some that interest me. I think their movie selection is starting to improve. There are also a host of reality shows and documentaries. For $1.99 you can't go wrong. You'll have a month to explore the available programming and if you're not satisfied, just cancel.
