As if Europeans know where all the states are in America. Lol we had a tv program about Dutch people who always went to Spain, Benidorm on a holiday and had to point where it was on a map. One woman had been going there for 25 years, 3 times a year.

Point well taken. I have nothing against Canada, have been there many times and think it's a great country.

But I get really tired of one particular SFer and his constant US-bashing, even when the topic has nothing to do with the US.

Come on folks! Canada and the United States are neighbors and friends! Watch a hockey game and notice how we sing each other's national anthem.

Well, but this is true. A friend of mine was captain in the German armed forces. At military training in the U.S. he saw a map of Europe on which Romania was named Transsylvania. Too much Dracula I think .
