I can agree with you. Children shouldn't necessarily be out of touch with today's society, but they will have plenty of time to learn about this as they grow and their minds develop and are able to process this information. What's the hurry to push so much knowledge into their brains until they are able to grow and enjoy life and allowing them to find their own way?

Undeveloped minds can sometimes become confused and the way some information is meant to be taken, may not be.

All a child has to do is watch TV commercials to know about the gay issue. Then there is Gay Pride celebrations. Sorry, it cannot be hidden anymore. I do believe it should not be taught in schools to kids.

My thoughts exactly. The path to LGBT acceptance is primarily parents accepting and supporting the child who discovers his/her own sexuality and/or sexual identity. So, focus on the adults and don't mess with the children.
