Always hated it when someone referred to their partner as "the old lady"

I'm with you on that, Lee.

The one that used to turn me off when I was in my teens was "my old man", meaning my dad.

Always sounded so disrespectful to me.

Mikes my second husband , but if I hadn’t had young children, i would of just lived with him as my partner I guess....I wasn’t really interested in marrying again, but felt I should , showing decency and respect for my children .....
