I am a struggling artist

I wanted to share one of my hobbies. It's 3D Art, using DAZ Studio. I've been doing this for 20 years, and I'm still very much a learner. I created a cast of characters and hope to one day reflect the kind of world I live in. This will reflect some unique humor & experiences.

Very interesting.

I've come across a few videos on YouTube that have this sort of technology behind them.

Lumion CGI Animation videos are so highly detailed and realistic.

Brilliant! Love this! I would love if you could show us more! I too am an artist, and one of my passions is similar to yours!
Please show us more of your exceptional art!

Thanks for your kind words. I consider myself a "normal" person. All my life, I have struggled with many "disabilities." I probably have a mild learning disorder. I need to "translate" things so I can understand them. I have struggled against severe shyness. I suffered in school when teachers wanted me to "perform" in front of the class. I've battled against extreme feelings of inadequacy, compounded by incessant bullying in schools, etc. I'm very sensitive. Sometimes I feel overpowered by feelings. Everywhere in life, I've always met at least one woman who was very angry and abusive. To reflect this woman, I created Bitti Botti (yes, I love to "play with words and sounds!")

I began my 3D Artistic journey in 1999 with a program called Poser. I discovered the Poser forums. I created a 3D alter-ego called Marlin Fingle. Marlin was created "live" when I posted the results of each minor alteration of his appearance, on the forums. Over the decades since, Marlin has achieved a more "sensible" form. But he still has a really preposterous nose. (I currently use the DAZ Studio application by DAZ3D.)

Thank you very much for the compliments. I don't "draw" the characters or scenes by hand. The software, DAZ Studio, provides many resources to do the work. You can buy scenes, people, hair, clothes, etc. You can start with a human body, and "sculpt" or make changes yourself. Then you can take everything, assemble it all together, and render the results. If you have the talent, you can actually create the characters, clothes, etc from scratch.

If you can't create things by yourself, then you are limited to the tools you can buy. A good example is one of my characters, Rick Klick. I wanted him to closely resemble me, including "male pattern baldness." I only found one "commercial" hairstyle to approximate that style. That, in turn, left me with only one choice for a "base character" to mold into my own.

Here is the link to DAZ3D: https://www.daz3d.com/

I like this character, but I can't find any "male pattern baldness" hair to fit him.
